Hello everyone, 

I know you have all been patiently waiting for information on the Theatre of Blood release, and I’d like to apologize for this update taking a bit longer than expected… It has been a busy month, but rest assured that we’re working our hardest to get Raids II out on Alora! We’ve made significant progress and have approximately 75% of the raid completed at this point, with the remaining content expected to be completed within the next few days. 

We’re also debating on whether or not to make it a dangerous death for Hardcore Ironmen, so I’ve included a poll for this. On OSRS, it is indeed a dangerous death, making it an extremely dangerous activity for HCIM. With that being said, there is a teleport crystal sold for 75,000 GP which would allow an HCIM to safely teleport out of the Raid in a dangerous situation. We’d like to hear your opinion on whether you’d want Alora’s Theatre of Blood to be dangerous for HCIM.

Although it’s difficult to give a guaranteed ETA, we will release it no later than July 14th. At the earliest, if everything goes perfectly, it could possibly be completed this weekend, but this depends on whether any obstacles arise during testing. Whatever the case, we know that it will be worth the wait! :)

Love it brother, although personally i think sticking true to OSRS and having hardcore ironman lose status would make sense i believe that with how our game has developed "locking out" a gamemode from end game wouldnt really be a good idea. Think it should be a safe death for all gamemodes with no worries of losing their hardwork through a big endgame experience such as Theatre of Blood and Chambers of Xeric. Their are still mainly other risks for hardcore status so it wouldnt really make the status less challenging.

nice! appreciate this. however do you plan on making it solo/duo-able. being a private server i dont think it should be AS challenging as osrs. however i'd keep the drop rates the same!

why not make the hcim death dangerous but with the teleport teleporting them tothe safezone and not outside of the raid?

This way they risk their status but also don't waste time on a raid they might not complete.

bad idea. how about the player that aren't hcim. or are we only catering to/ favoring HCIM?

Shoutout to @Omicron for the next upcoming update! I can't wait to do this awesome raids and I hope that it will be solo/duo able as soon as the Raids 2 has been released. Keep up the good work and I hope so see Alora growing even more after Raids 2. Hopefully Raids will be active again, hehe.

This is why Alora is the 1# rsps around , we get everything that gets added to OSRS , looks really good @Omicron

First of all, don't apologise. You've always been known for keeping up to date with content, though you've gave players a heads up to be impatient with you releasing your updates too.

I'm all for a safe death for HCIM. As someone who ended up getting a top tier Hardcore Ironman myself I feel that this is the convenient way to do it.

Also, on the HCIM discussion. My opinion would be to make it a safe death at first due to possible bugs still being present. It would be an absolute pain for HCIM to lose their status because of some bug. Maybe when all the bugs are known/fixed you can make it a dangerous death.

While we should aim to be as close to OSRS as possible, I don't see why this should be considered a dangerous death.

Especially on Alora where we have simplified almost every aspect of bossing.

We will be restricting one part of the community.

As an HCIM you would have to completely trust your companions to the absolute fullest.

Anyone intentionally dying would mean a loss of your HCIM status.

HCIM should be challenging, I just don't see why OSRS would take this direction.

Great progress , any news on customs/store for raid II? Really hope that staff/rapier/scythe does not make it in to custom donations unlike tbow and elysian.

Also with HCIM having low xp rates and only a few players playing the mode I think it would be unfair to not give them full acces to TOB.

No crystal just make it a safe death.

Really looking forward to getting a purple chest :)
