I really like this idea, and would love to see something along these lines added. I personally feel that with a random 4 piece set currently costing 15k points, it would make sense and keep the balance for players to have the option choose a specific piece for 5k points. That way it is more expensive to have the luxury to choose your own piece, but it is possible and not out of reach.

While I understand the frustration of grinding Barrows for a certain item and getting duplicates instead, I don't like the idea of essentially recycling items for points so that you can get what you want. Being able to exchange points for a random set or bolt racks is already a nice perk compared to OSRS Barrows and duplicates could easily be transferred to a main and sold to get drop boosters or other items that could be used on an ironman account if you see the duplicates as useless items. 

 

Assuming this suggestion is directed towards ironmen, since Barrows is quite inexpensive to acquire as a normal account, I think the whole premise of the ironman game mode is to acquire the items yourself and something like this kind of defeats the purpose.

I support this suggestion as it would be helpful for ironmen and would get rid of the shitty feeling when getting duplicate.
