What is your suggestion?: Give Super Donor + an option to choose the specific slayer task they want.

How would this benefit Alora?: So earlier today I wanted a King Black Dragon task and it took me like 50+ tries to actually get it. I'm Super Donator on my Ironman so I skip tasks for free anyways so I don't see why we don't just have an option to choose the slayer task we actually wanna do. I don't feel like this gives a huge advantage it just saves time.

Maybe make it a perk for extremes and higher? I haven't really thought of the effects that this may bring, but I like the idea. Would be a solid slayer/QOL update

No support, boss slayer is already easy as a Super donor with the free skips and the ability to choose a quantity to kill.

I like this idea, with the ability to skip tasks for free, i see no harm in the ability to choose which task you wish to do.

Being able to choose a specific task is not how slayer works. Having free skips is already a significant advantage allowing you to get desired tasks and not lose points. If you don't want to spend the time skipping until you find the one task you want to do, go kill the monster off task.

I'm here with mack, it would ruin the aspect of slayer. This would also just over crowd the popular/best xp ncp's.

I feel like people on Alora does specific tasks anyway. I think people only takes the tasks they can actually use some kind of drop from, not just a random task that needs to be done but I could be wrong. With that being said I fully understand how you guys stand on this but once again I feel like when you have the option to cancel a task for free you might as well decide which slayer task you actually wanna do since the the slayer aspect is already ruined by giving players the opportunity to skip any tasks they don't wanna complete. Also, keep in mind people usually get slayer tasks because it increases kill per hour significantly with Slayer Helm / Slayer Helm (i).

 

I agree that allowing people to skip tasks for free is a significant advantage but why not go all in and save their time also? Alternative option could also be to move the free skip up to Extreme Donator and giving Super Donator an x amount of skips per day, but giving players option to choose specific tasks.

Super donators can already skip for free, so what if it takes a little while? No support.

Although I would love this, I think it would be too OP. As a super donator + you can cancel your tasks for free, which already provides a major benefit/advantage. By being able to choose your tasks that would mean slayer streaks would never be canceled, thus, increasing points in an unhealthy way. I don't think this is a good addition to the current system, so I am going to say no support for now.

In my opinion I think maybe a higher rank should have the feature, but then again like others have said it ruins the aspect of slayer, and free changes already does seem enough so I'm on the fence with this one.

I don't see the reason for this as it's already free skips after super donator, and would also make the game a little pay to play. No support

So I I thought about this awhile back because I get so unlucky when I want a task it does take awhile to get but I feel being able to choose your task would allow people to easily farm the boss they want and gain slayer points so imbuiment scrolls will crash, I am going to stay Neutral.

I think i would only support this for extreme or higher. But to be fair a majority of the time it doesnt take too long to get a task, especially extreme tasks. It also definitely shouldnt count towards a streak lol that would be op af

No support, free skips is already pretty op, especially with how many times I skip tasks I'd end up spending 100's of thousands of slayer points on skip if it wasn't for super donator. Being able to always choose whatever task you want is just way too op. If you want to kill monsters/bosses with the added bonus of getting slayer experience + more damage done to them through your slayer helm then you should at least have to work a tiny bit to get the task you want.

 

Heck, if you can just always choose your slayer task, we might as well just let supers get slayer experience from killing stuff off-task as well. That way we don't even need the slayer master to assign us anything. ;p

 

 

If anything.. I would support for each donator rank to get an extra block so they can get rid of more of the tasks they never complete.

Thats a no support from me, enough that super donos got free task skips and you'll get what ever you want by just keep skipping its easier now too that they added to the slayer master "Cancel Task" option too instead of trading then canceling will take longer now its easier to skip task that means easier and fast to get the task you want..

For me i personally wouldn't care as i don't do slayer much but i feel the option of free skips is enough as is. No support
