What is your suggestion?: Giving donators the ability to create presets in the bank.

 

Is this in OSRS?: No, this is however a feature in Runescape 3.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: I don't think so although I am not too sure.

 

How would this benefit Alora?: So having presets in the bank is not only very handy for players that does a lot of bossing but this could also help out the newer players that might no be so familiar with what to bring to each boss etc.

 

This is my suggestion on the different donator ranks:

 

Donator -> 2 presets

 

Super Donator & Extreme Donator -> 3 presets

 

 

Legendary Donator & Uber Donator -> 4 presets

 

 

Master Donator -> 5 presets

 

 

This is my suggestion on how it could look in game:

 

Once you open up your bank on any given tab you would see the different presets available to you in the left hand side of the bank as shown on the picture below.

 

 

 

Then once you click a preset it will give you the options as shown on the image below.

 

(Sorry my Photoshop skills aren't the best)

 

 

Also give the ability to right click any preset to give it a name.

 

Equip: Pressing Equip will bring out both saved gear and inventory given that everything is still available in your bank.

 

Save: Pressing Save will override any other saved preset saving both currently equipped gear and inventory.

I was going to suggest this the other day, but I saw no point thought It would just get declined since it's not in OSRS.

Presets are very convenient, although they’re not on OSRS that shouldn’t be an arguement to not support presets because at the end of the day we’re a RSPS so we have our benefits.

No support. I liked this feature on RS3 because of the sheer amount of gear/items needed for PVMing, but I don't see it being necessary on here.

This would be a big change for pking, especially multi since its usual when you die to regear as quick as possible and return. This is can change fights in multi a lot. No support from me.

Very cool idea, and I do see benefits...But not enough benefits. It's a no support from me. Mainly because there's not a huge variety in end game bossing gear...I would just have 3-4 different void set ups lol.

These 2 comments completely sum up what I was about to write on this topic. It will be a No Support from me unfortunately. The addition of "Withdraw X" is more than enough to make skilling far easier than it was before and there's a somewhat "Skill" level to regearing and not forgetting things!

I agree with you. Most of the community will say if it's not in 07, don't bother. If it's in RS3 (and I agree), don't bother. Hell, even when an excellent custom suggestion is created, it might shot down because it's not in 07.

Bank presets have been suggested and declined several times. Even though this is an RS3 feature, I don’t see this happening on Alora. As what DB Aspect said, this would be a major change for PKing as players can regear fast and head back to the wild, which seems a bit unfair in my opinion. The solution would be for players to use a bank tab for PKing gear and supplies, which seems feasible.

For those disagreeing for PvP reasons, Omicron could simply make slight changes to what Iron Champie is suggesting here, such as being disallowed to use a preset for 2-3 minutes, or even longer after dying. Better still, Omicron could generally add a waiting time in order to use a preset again, so things don't become too over powered ("You have already used a preset within the last 10 minutes, please try again later").
