I've seen a lot of suggestions about Group Ironmen and leaving groups, inactive players, etc.

All of the suggestions I've seen have had little to no support with the way they suggest it because they either leave way too much for abuse or make it too overpowered.

I'd like to throw my two cents on the topic.

I feel like there should be a way to leave a group but there would be HEAVY restrictions so that everyone will be okay with it.

1. A max of 1, 2 or 3 people can leave per group over the groups lifespan, I would prefer 1 because that gives you 1 chance to make a right decision because sometimes even the most trustworthy people on the server decide they want to leave *cough* admin *cough*.

2. The person wanting to leave the group would have to go through a lengthy process...

2. A) The person wanting to leave MUST be the one to start the vote to leave the group.

2. B) The entire group must agree to let the person leave the group. All or nothing. If the entire group doesn't support this vote then nothing happens, even the person leaving must accept the vote.

2. C) The person leaving the group must not have taken anything from the group bank or traded another member in 7 days(optional requirement)

2. D) The person leaving the group must have under 1500 total(This is roughly under 5 days of gameplay, if you have over 5 days of gameplay, I can assume you've been playing semi-regularly since the release of GIM)

3. EIM has an option for a 1 time 40$ group change, I don't see why this couldn't have that also.

If you have any other requirements you think would be appropriate, I'd like to hear them.

Only making this so people will stop making shit suggestions that people find heavy flaws in and just instantly comment no support. Even the best of people can decide they want to be part of a different group(Hence my *cough* Admin *cough* up above, there's a group where an admin just left the group because he found another he wanted to be in more).

That was my 2 cents on the topic. Thank you for reading to this point.

Only allow people with up to a certain amount of playtime to join the group, so we can avoid people doing this to gain advantage over others, whether its for experience gain or items. Like EIM has it when finding a partner for the first time.

Getting an active player will eventually benefit the group more, and hopefully add to a more enjoyable experience.

Only reason I don't like that is because the game mode didn't start with that and because the majority of people quit accounts in the first day, but I see where you're coming from.

Alternatively, just remove all advantage of leaving a group.

If a player is willing to say, have their entire bank wiped upon exiting the group, then I believe that should be an option.

With no benefit to leaving a group arrangement (stealing gear, resources, ect) possible, the option will largely serve to save people trapped in groups with in-actives or banned players.

Obviously losing your items is rough, but hopefully, your new group is better and willing to hook you up :P

I can understand your concerns regarding finding a better way for GIMs to leave their teams. I agree that such a process has to be strict to prevent abuse, but I’ve yet to see a clear/easy way of doing so. Neutral.

What if the entire group quit and you're left alone? Is it fair to punish someone who wants to join a group since his/her quit? I'm in this situation right now. Before creating the group, all my team members agree and promise to commit to the group. But things doesn't always turn out the way you want.

Great Idea, but there could also be many flaws with this as well,

lets say i joined a group and the other 4 gave up ... and stopped playing altogether, or someone was just being toxic to stop someone from leaving the group etc etc. I believe it should just be made into a donation thing for real money only or something you pay to leave it becomes a deterrent to those who wanna just jump around but like you say it should be a 1 time thing, you pay to move and that's it you can't move again

Doesn't make since how can they vote you can leave or not, when you're in my situation, no one in my group plays anymore???

needs to be a way to just leave a group once..  A lot of players love there Group iron man, but people died off. Think Group leader needs a way to kick "X" number of players and a person is allowed to leave a group once.. the next group they join better be the right one...
