Hey everyone! I used to play RS years ago when I was a kid and haven't played in years. I kept seeing Alora advertised on my FB and thought I would give it a try, so my question is how does it differ from normal RS?

Hello and welcome to Alora!! The biggest difference would probably have to be the teleporting mechanics, it's easy to get around Alora with the Teleport Wizard located at home. The npc will teleport you to various skilling, pvming, pvp locations which is great if you want to get around.

Welcome to Alora! Omicron, Alora's creator, strives to make Alora as similar to Old School RuneScape as possible. As such, many of the boss drop rates are similar and most boss mechanics. That being said, many bosses are slightly easier.

One of the big differences is that Alora eliminates much of the down time present in OSRS in teleporting through the teleport wizard. Furthermore, you can choose the account type you want based on how much you want to grind. Every type of character has different XP rates.
