I have been gone for a while but I have also been playing OSRS. As such I have been doing end game bossing including Raiding/Nightmare. And I would like to see some added improvements or changes to CoX to maybe match that little more to OSRS as it is currently it's a harder raid than OSRS.

Suggestions:

Add Prep room which would include the following:

Farming Patches

- Add seeds to drops from monsters

- Add raking patch inside the room where you fish for points

- Add Geyser for Quick Fill Flasks

- Add Flask Tree

- Add Raking patch for Seeds in room before Olm

- Add tools to the wall of said Prep Room (Rake,Spade,Hammer,Seed Dipper)

Herbs/Seeds

WFhHc3m.png

Secondaries

- Add seconds to the Scavengers and have them re-spawn in a room right before Olm

eEWLAcC.png

Allow Melee/Mage to stay in two spots while 1-3 Runners in middle are able to run head without the Melee/Mage having to move. I have made a picture of where the Mage/Melee should be on the left/right sides where they can walk back and forth to avoid damage from Poison/Fixate Debuffs.

bX1hJG4.png

Also if we can fix the Fixate Debuff so you can successfully dodge it by walking in a 3x3 square that would be amazing as it is what mostly kills me.

rbC5vif.png

All these additions could make Raiding a bit less tedious for people who have to give up brews/supplies to ironmen who can't trade.

As for Fixate, I beg you fix it as that thing is gnarly and hard to avoid. Fixate decreases my supplies tenfold because I can't dodge them correctly.

Also if you could decrease the timing of falling crystals on Head Phase of Olm that would be greatly appreciated as well as you should be able to avoid most if not all of them by running back and forth 2 squares. Once you see the shadows you should have enough time to dodge the falling crystal phase.

Criticism is always accepted and appreciated.

Also I realize this would have to be a pretty big update and take some time, but for a future update I know I myself would be excited to see it.

If you read a bit back in updates etc, Omicron has stated that he’s doing a complete COX rework.

I’m sure most of not all the things that you just listed here will be included in the revamp.

Oh good, I haven't read up on everything yet, plus I looked into the accepted suggestions area and saw nothing about all of these.

Hopefully it does get implemented and maybe this could be helpful for some stuff to look on.

Yeah apparently a CoX rework is in the plans as Wheat stated but all these suggestions to make raids on here closer to OSRS are great and something that should definitely be implemented in the rework.

I'm fine with anything but making us have to prep :)

I think Prepping is the most important out of everything here. This way everyone can have supplies going into Olm and would help the new raiders survive.

Brews for normies are 5-10k each and ironmen can either bring their own or loot enough to make it to the end of the raid easily, I use maybe 2-3 brews per raid if I'm unlucky, prepping would just make raids so much slower and boring imo, we already have to do a ton of raids to get items.

Good thing about prepping is you only need to do it if you must. I went into a raid earlier with almost everyone being new to raids and needless to say I ended up using all my supplies before Olm.

If the Prep room was added people like me could be able to keep the team points high as well as be able to survive. Because I didn't have any supplies and had to give up all the Xeric's Aids to the Ironmen I went in with 1 brew.

Prep room would benefit more people than not honestly. Could make Revite's, Enhances, as well as Overloads/Xerac's. At the same time you are getting points for prepping instead of fishing.

Would also be beneficial to Solo/Duo raiders.

Also in OSRS with Prepping included it's still a 20-30 minute raid like it is in Alora, if we had the random rooms of 4-6 rooms a raid that would be beneficial as well.

As long as he doesn't remove pot drops from npc's I'd be fine with it.

Of course not, I would still expect the drops from the bosses and earlier scav rooms. Those would be a big help to Ironmen who couldn't make their own.

As what my fellow peers have stated, CoX will be going through a huge rework according to Omicron. I'm definitely looking forward to what changes will be implemented into Alora.

I’m open to any CoX changes that make the raid smoother. I can’t comment on team raids as I only do solo’s but if I’m being honest I think it’s well balanced the way it is. As long as the changes don’t make my times longe than 30 minutes I’m happy.

Don't worry, the prep room would only be optional and reworking the attacks would keep you from dying as fast. Might be faster kill times never know.

Prepping isn't necessary at all, at this moment. There are plenty of brews in the raid itself, and normies can EASILY bring their own, if needed.

It might be a nice addition when the long-waited for reworks comes around though..

Every raid I have been too I have ended up at Olm with no brews/restores left. Because of this I have died multiple times at Olm and ended up at around 1-2K total points.

It's hard to navigate with everyone for running the head/mechanics and most the time it goes poorly. If we had the Prep Room it would secure max points for raids with new comers.

Plus I would love to be able to go in will Revites, Overloads, Enhances, and Aids. Would also make teaching new raiders a lot easier on the carry.

I'll happily carry you on a raid soon man!

Usually, no one dies in the raids I do! (I doubt that has anything to do with the fact that I'm in it though)

Would love that! As I've stated above I am having the worst time finding groups with good players. I mean I don't mind the beginners but the timing and deaths is just so bad without being able to make my own potions while in there.

It would be nice if the failing crystal affect wouldnt happen on the head phase, the last phase after both claws have been defeated, crystals already are falling so the special attack fixate is over doing it and can stack with the normal crystals already. Also the siphen happens alot in the head phase and for a solo it gets annoying being so close then crystal stack and siphen killing you and the progress made is gone due to olm healing of the siphen. Additionally olm can heal from damage delt even when the symbol appears before and after it appears/disapears meaning u can hit 30 without any chance of knowing it would heal until after the fact you healed him THEN the symbol appears or AFTER it disapears and the ground specials stops and you still heal him. The rework really needs to come soon.
