Welcome to my Ironman Starter Guide.
This guide will explain newcomers how they should start.

Melee Weapons:

The first weapon you will get is an iron scimitar from your starter package.

The next weapon yhou should obtain is a rune scimitar, which can be droped by firegiants.| Another method would be doing thieving up to 80, to get an adamant scimitar out of the thieving stall at home.

Using a slayer staff is totaly worth it. Untill you get a rune or maybe dragon scimitar. Youc an buy it from the slayer shop.

Dragon Dagger can be obtained by farming maqpie implings in puro-puro.

Next step would be a dragon scimitar. You just have to complete the monkey madness quest to obtain a dragon scimitar. | Other method would be doing barrows to get a dragon spear/longsword as a drop.

The crystal halberd can be found by killing zulrah for an crystal seed, which you can turn into a crystal halberd.

The final step at your melee weapons. After you got 85 slayer you should hunt your whip.

Range Weapons:

The starter package should give you a bow and 250 iron arrows to start with.

Now you should get some mining and smithing levels to smith you some iron knives to train your range with.

Magic shortbow and rune arrows can be farmed by hunting maqpie implings in puro-puro.

Runit limbs to craft an runecrossbow can be farmed by killing steel dragons.

Adamant|Runite bolts and boltracks can be farmed by doing barrows.

The next step should be a karils crossbow from barrows. You get easy alot of bolts and the damage is also not that bad.

It's time to farm zulrah, after you got your karils crossbow. Farm zulrah untill you get your blowpipe. Once you've gained your blowpipe, you could go in for a acb.

Magic Weapons and Runes:

The starter package should give you a staff of air and some mind runes to start with.

To get some wands you have to do the mage arena. | You should also do some runecrafting levels, to get the runes you need.

You could farm ahrims staff from barrows.. but i think it's not worth the time you will spend.

Kill the kraken to get your own trident of the seas. | Kill zamorak to get the staff of the dead.

Melee Gear:

The first gear you should use is the ironman-gear. You can get it by talking to paul in edgeville.

PHWyK9h.png
The fastes way to get steel or mithril armor is by doing it yourself (mining and smithing).

The fastes way to get some rune gear is by doing barrows.

You can obtain a defender by doing the warriros guild minigame.

You can obtain a black mask for your slayer helmet by killing cave horrors with an slayer level of 58.

Helm of neiznot can be obtained by doing the lunar diplomacy quest.

Rune boots can be droped by Nechryael with an slayer level of 80

Dragon boots can obtained by killing spiritual mages in the gwd with an slayer level of 83.

If you don't like rune gear or want to skill barrows and rune gear, then you should go and farm your void. But i recommend to get barrows gear for bosses like bandos etc.

You're ready to do the big bosses now, after you got your barrows. It's time to farm bandos, cerberus, zulrah etc.

 Range Gear:

Killing cows in lumbrdige and craft some leather gear by yourself.

The most who reading this won't be able to craft themself red/black d'hide so i recommend to farm yourself void or barrows for karils.

Snakeskin boots can't be crafted yet. So your first boots should be ranger boots.

Ranger boots and robin hood hat can be found in the crystal chest and clues.

Barrows, to farm yourself some karils. It's not the best idea to start big pvming with void, that's why i recommend getting karils.

Once you got your karils and maybe a blowpipe etc, then you should farming some armadyl gear.

 Magic Gear:

Go into the monk's churche to the right of edgeville to grab yourself some monkrobes.

Doing the quest horror of the deep to get yourself an unholy book is decently for the start.

You could get some infinity by doing the mage arena untill you get some ahrims.

 Barrows for ahrims.

Skilling items:

Steel Axe can be obtained by killing pyrefiends with an slayer level of 30.

Mithril Axe can be obtained by killing cave horrors with an slayer level of 58.

Rune axe can be obtained by killing Wyverns, Lava dragons, Dagganoth rex and steel dragons.

Dragon Axe can be obtained by killing dagganoth kings.

Iron Pickaxe can be obtained by kiling rock crabs.

Rune pickaxe can be obtained by killing Bandos, Vet'ion and Venenatis.

Dragon pickaxe can be obtained by killing Chaos elemental, Callisto, Vet'ion, Venenatis and King blackdragon.

Skilling Supplies:

Kwuarm and Irit seeds can be farmed by killing Cave Horrors.

Ranarr seeds can be farmed by killing Wyverns.

Alot of seeds, Limpwurt root and white berrys can be farmed by killing kurasks.

Red spider eggs can be farmed by killing venenantis

All herbs can be farmed by doing the Master Farmer.

Runessence can be farmed by killing Zulrah and Abyssal Demons.

Flax can be farmed by killing Zulrah

Raw fish can be caught by yourself or farmed while doing some pvm. Zulrah drops 100 raw sharks as example.

Magic logs can by cutted from yourself or farmed by killing Zulrah.

Coal can be farmed at Zulrah.

Steel and Iron bars could be farmed by killing iron and steel dragons, while doing slayer.

Some other important Informations:

Barrows gloves can be obtained by talking gypsy in edgevill and doing the minigame.

73qEz3a.png

ava's Accumulator, void and fighter torso can be obtained by doing pest control. You can buy it for 10 points.

Gmm3Lbn.png
Amulet of glory and ring of wealth. Doing slayer and buying crystal keys is the fastes way to obtain yourself an dragonstone. You need 40 mining, 40 smithing, (80 for glory and 55 for row) crafting and 68 magic to make yourself an amulet of glory and a ring of wealth.

CInQbh3.png

ykHaTRb.png

Another methode to farm yourself a glory is by hunting Maqpie implings.

1-57 crafting will be done in 3-4 inventorys of cow hide (leather).

Getting yourself one of the prayer books is pretty important. You will get it when you've done the quest "horror from the deep" which you can start by talking with jossik at the rock crabs training location.

I recommend farming full guthan for your slayer grind. The heals you get spare alot of food which is pretty nice as an ironman who has to fish everything by itself.

Alching the rune and dragon items you get droped by doing barrows is one of the best money methodes for an ironman. You need it to repair barrows gear and some more small functions.

If i miss anything important or you guys know more then me, feel free to tell it me. I will add it to this little guide :)
I did this guide because there no starter guides in my opinion.
