Poll it up! (Remove the tob items from hc's and make them get it back 100% droprate till they get the items they had back already with no new items being 100% drop rate)(<this is a joke but would be sick if it could happen.)

Maybe this suggestion would be better suited as a polled suggestion. On the one hand, it would be more accurate to make ToB deaths cause you to lose your HC status, and would add some risk to end-game content, but on the other hand, it would cause integrity issues due to the fact that some HC's have already completed ToB, and had the (huge) advantage of doing it without worrying about death.

Both of these have been mentioned , Personally I think what matters more is going forward & the hardcores that have some of the uniques won’t matter as much in the future but I agree with the poll suggestion & let the server speak & answer for themselves because getting the best magic/melee slash/stab item with no risk definitely needs to be looked at .

Would it be possible to clear the collection logs from ToB for HC status players? Wouldn’t need to remove items that they have gotten from drops or remove their status as a HC but still give older HC players a new goal to work towards to complete their collection logs? Just an outside opinion from someone who doesn’t play HC.

Far too late to change this as some hardcores already completed ToB, but I wouldn't mind this being polled anyways to see how the community feels about this change.

I'd support this if it wasn't for 2 reasons. 1) A lot of hcim have already completed tob and have died there 2) people die all the time due to deadclicks in tob etc and some graphical glitches (like when ur chosen in sotetseg maze and dd ball gets launched at u when u leave the portal you can't see it) gl on the suggestion though

The polls are split relatively evenly, therefore we won't be changing the death mechanics for ToB.
