Welcome to my Zulrah Guide For Noobs!

3t5hyY5.png

On a RuneScape private server you may expect things to be a little bit different than

you're used to when it comes to Old School Runescape.

This guide is designed for those who come straight outta OSRS and have

a little bit of knowledge about Zulrah already, and for those who come in blanco

and have zero experience killing this boss.

I'm going to explain everything straight to the point and very easy so don't expect an in-depth guide.

The reason why I do this, is because an in-depth guide can bring confusion for your first few kills, especially

when you try to learn Zulrah through guides on youtube from OSRS. Zulrah on OSRS and Alora are NOT the same!

Also I'm not going to show her drop table in this guide because this is not an in-depth guide and only focussed on

helping you get your first few Zulrah kills.

Note:

Zulrah can inflict venom. Taking an antipoison potion or anti venom potion can be helpful, but since this is

Alora there are easier ways to heal yourself from venom. Simply teleport out after a kill with ;;thieve or

::thieve for non-donators and heal with the Surgeon (also pray at altar), or for donators teleport out

with ;;dz or ::dz and heal at the Rejuvenation pool.

(unfortunately in this clip Zulrah didn't call in the boys, but they aren't that scary. You'll see for yourself <3)

I hope this guide was helpful. If you think I missed something essential let me know down here!

Feedback for future guides is always useful!

Thanks and good luck with Zulrah!

Very good guy showing how simple it can be. Alot of people don't get into the PvM scene because they think it's super intense and hard to learn.

A tip: Doing Horror from the Deep quest for that Unholy book is good for that +8 range bonus aswell!

Thanks for this guide man.

I can stand everywhere as well, but since this guide is for beginners it's good to have a clear view over what's happening all over the place. That's why I advised to stand in the middle. It helped me in the beginning as well since I was used to OSRS rotations of Zulrah.

Thank you for the guide! I've no idea how to do this boss yet, so I was curious how it works!  :D It doesn't seem so hard after seeing the video and this guide, thank you for taking the time to make it.

Good to hear! That’s what I was aiming for when making this guide. Many people simply give up after dying a few times, and think it’s hard. But what I have learned is that a simple explanation is very useful when starting something new. Learning things like patterns, tick-eating, combo food etc. are useful when you know the basics :)

Hopefully you managed, or will manage, to get a few first kills now :D Good luck!

Very nice guide. The only thing I'd say is that magic seems to be better for range/melee phase, and range is very important for magic phase. Very clean looking guide though!

I’ve started out my few kills like I was used to on OSRS. So mage the range and melee phases, and range the mage phase. But after killing a few I tried with only range (rune c’bow/ruby bolts (e)), and I noticed it got easier. Not having to switch between gear set-ups when zulrah changes makes dpsing a lot faster. Also, the ruby (e) special, which frequently hits, takes off 100 hp since this is not capped at all. This made my kills go a lot faster. Current pb is like 00:56 if I remember correctly, and that’s just ranging!

Zulrah’s defensive stats on Alora are low to none, so just Ranged is more than enough in my opinion. Also, this guide was intended as easy to follow, so adding in gear switches would confuse future pvmers I think :P I did my first Zulrah kill on OSRS (for diary) as well with only Ranged :D

he even replied to the thread about taking look at zulrah and updating her in next big update but nothing ever changed...

Guide looks good and simple! Oh man, seeing this footage takes me back all the way to 2017. This is exactly how I used to do zulrah!
