Enable Runecrafting Altar Exit Portals

What is your suggestion?:

We have an amazing set of teleports available to players via the Dark Mage at home, to access various runecrafting altars throughout Gielinor. However, excluding a few of these (astral, blood) these are separate from the general map.

 

This suggestion is to support the teleportation to and from the runecrafting altars as exists in OSRS. In OSRS, if you have the corresponding talisman (or tiara) for an altar, you can enter its fixed location for runecrafting by using it on the broken ruins from the overworld. Once in the location where actually crafting runes, you are able to use the exit portal to return back to the overworld.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not that I could find on the previous suggestions thread

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Players would be able to quickly access altars and the external resources nearby to these altars, as is expected from them and the fact the portals exist

 @Jerbear,

 

                Rcing has been from the dark mage since the beginning, and changing it now wouldn't be fair to players since it would reduce the xp/hr greatly. Also the areas you would reach upon leaving the altars already have teleports fairly close to it.

You've misunderstood my suggestion. I am not suggesting the dark mage be removed in any way shape or form. It's immensely valuable and I love the benefit of it. This is exactly why RSPS's are so much more enjoyable.

 

The suggestion is purely for enabling players to choose to exit/enter if they so wish. They would still have as much ability to train as they currently do.

 

Some may have nearby teleports, but others I disagree with that being the case. For example: 

1. Air altar acts as a fast teleport to the southern entrance to Falador, or to port sarim. 

2. Earth altar will get you close to the lumberyard, and to the limestone quarry immediately east of it.

3. Fire altar will give you a faster access to the al kharid mine

4. Law altar will unlock the island of entrana

 

I can go on, but I think my point is well made that adding these unlocks cool new content and faster access to certain areas.

After reading your reply I must say SUPPORT

This will make certain clue steps easier for everyone, but mostly the newer players/accounts that doesn’t have the jewellery box and/or the spirit tree in their POH.

(I was a bit confused reading the suggestion, so you should definitely edit in/add the locations this change would benefit from)

Ah yes I misunderstood, I agree that leaving said altar and accessing area would be quite interesting and im sure it wouldnt take long to code :P Support.
