How are we all on this fine morning/day/evening, wherever you are in the world!

I introduced myself (briefly) recently in this thread, on Alora's fine red carpet.

Look, we all know Discord’s the quick shag. Instant, lively, loud, gone by the morning. Forums are the slow burn, real discussion, the odd opinion scrap, code drops, crypto heartbreak stories that don’t vanish in 24 hours and a place to moan about life into the void where nobody probably gives a sheeeet. I’ve modded RSPS boards since 2012; off-topic was always the soul, the uninformed discussing politics, graphics side hustles, "irl pics" and the occasional “my boss is a twat” rants. Alora’s got a good chunk online right now, but this section seems to be quieter than the UK government.

I've always loved the forums side of RSPS, I know things have moved on with time, and as mentioned with many people turning to discord (moving with the times), or just simply playing the game, it isn't quite the same anymore. However I'm sure some RSPS veterans like myself will catch my vibe, It's a nice mix of both community and nostalgia. I'd love to bring the forums here to life a bit more, especially in areas like this. I've ran servers, staffed and even more simply been a forum moderator and as long as everyone is nice enough it always works out in the end.

I intend to create a few threads in attempt to get things kicked off - watch this space, there may be nothing to watch, but have a peek anyway.

If we hit 20 replies in a week, I’ll host a mithril armour set drop party. Free of charge, on me, it'd be my pleasure.

Have a great day everyone and most of all have fun! Let's try and revive the forums a little bit. Slainte!

Thanks, Ultreme!

I remind of Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin armour set (melee) days being the most flashy and hard thing to get in Rs3.

Also when I started playing a first Brazilian RSPS.. had a lack of english language knowledge and someone told me to "::changepassword 123456" to get free money  :mindblown:  :TopKek:

I have a loot of nostalgic moments about rs on my mind for sure.  <3

There really is that little bit of magic in all that though lol. Bank booths everywhere, strange servers, we've all been lured once or twice. Character building, quite literally lol!

I just saw this thread now, lol. I love the idea of trying to bring the forums back the way it use to be. Obviously like you said, "moving with the times". We all slowly migrate to discord. Unfortunately it just can never be replicated again, we use to bring these forums to life when we first started. Reaching upwards to 30-50 posts a day which was awesome. I do not really have any fun stories to share with so much experience in this area LOL one that stood out to me the most. I remember being younger and was gambling. I had an Elysian, I gave it to the guy who was trusted and he logged out for a couple days. He came back later on and acted like nothing ever happened and since I did not record I was at a lost. Everyday he wore that Elysian spirit shield...smh LOL also rip mithril dparty. We should all rock some gilded thoughts?
