Great costumes by all, Real Alan, Sheep, and Benefactor got my votes... and Benefactor if I'm not mistaken yours is "The Great Deku Tree" in Ocarina of Time?

It indeed is! Tried my best to recreate an iconic scene from my favorite childhood game :)

I'm going to do something that may bite me in the butt later, but Classic's costum is original and different from other player's theme.  You have my vote Classic!

After talking with a few players, it seems that adding these skilling outfits to the Daily shop wouldn't be ideal, but perhaps adding other ways to obtain these outfits would be great!

 

Here are a few ideas, and if you think of any other ideas, please leave them in a comment! :)

I'd also love some feedback from staff & the community on how we could make this work!

 

 

 

Angler outfit:

 

-Minnow fishing is currently unpopular towards the server, perhaps we could add a way to obtain the Angler set from this training method; for exemple : trade (x) minnows for a piece of Angler / trade (x) minnows for a gamble at a Angler piece / randomly fished.

 

-Trading in (x) amount of (x) fish to obtain a piece / gamble for a piece; in exemple : trade 1000 raw sharks for the Angler Hat, 500 Dark Crabs for the Boots, 250 anglerfish for the Top & 2500 Karambwans for the Legs / Gamble 100 (x) fish for a chance of a piece.

 

-Increase Molch pearl drop rate, as the current rate of obtaining the Angler set is in the double digit hours.

 

-Clue bottles: Just as rare as Corrupted

 

 

 

Farmer Outfit:

 

-1% chance to obtain a piece after Medium tasks / 2.5% from Hard tasks

 

-Hisporie drop

 

-Chance to obtain from "finding something in the soil" before harvesting a patch (low dr)

 

-Trading in seeds for rewards (higher tiers of seeds can result into higher chances)

 

 

 

As mentioned above, please leave feedback! I'd love to see all skilling sets ingame and accessible for all players

Suggestions:

-Add the full Angler outfit to the Daily shop, as the only way to obtain the set is via Aerial Fishing.

-Add the full Farmer outfit tot he Daily shop (or any activity), as it is impossible to obtain.

 

As a collectionneer of some sort, I love unlocking everything possible & obtaining every single untradeable in the game. One of my current goal is to obtain all skilling outfits (Graceful, Lumberjack, Pyromnancer, Rogue, ect) and to my knowledge, we do not have the Farmer's outfir in Alora. Though Farming is one of the fastest skill to train, I'd love to be able to fashionscape me some Farmer cosplay - with or without the xp boost that Osrs provides. I'd love to see the set come to the game !

 

Also, the Angler outfit is such a Paine (pun intended) to get as Aerial fishing yeilds low drop-rate of pearls & requires 400 of these to purchase the set. In osrs, one can do the Fishing Thrawler minigame to obtain pieces with ease, and I would love to see it come to the Daily reward shop with the other skilling outfits!

Tonight, I will pitch a suggestion to add some items to the Vote Reward Shop. Feel free to leave comments about your opinions & ideas that may be considered to be added to said shop.

 

What are the main grinds of early ironmen? Whip, Trident, Blowpipe... Ranger boots!

But that's not the only clue scroll unique you'll need in your adventure. Flared Trousers are either considered the Holy Grail of easy clues or "That rare drop that could have been Rangers" from Lucky Impling. Adding the Trousers to the Vote Shop for a high price (600-800 points) would greatly benefit the server as ironmen without said pants would be more inclined to vote frequently and buy other's vote books to acquire this item; and they wouldn't be the first item in the Vote Shop required for a clue.

 

The Silver Sickle (i) is useful by two ways - the clue stop in Catherby & the collection of Fungi for the Mori diaries and Super Energy Potions. That being said, the Vote Shop is the only way to obtain the Sickle; thus making the Flared Trousers expensive to purchase from said store. The price of Flared Trousers wouldn't be impacted as the price of vote books to buy the pants would be way higher then just buy them from other players in the Trading Post, but it would also unlock an important clue item required for Master clues.

 

If the Vote Reward Shop seems too "OP" for Flared Trousers, as ironmen could buy votes from other players, it could be placed in the Daily Reward Shop, as we'd have to get lots of Daily Points to buy these disco icons - but in my opinion, Voting for the server would increase attention on all websites & would also benefit players in multiple ways!

 

I'd love to hear from the staff team about what they think of this idea & have feedback on how we could work something out.

If the Kurask nerf happens, all slayer creatures should require the Slayer tool their require on Osrs - like Gargs & the hammer, the Cave Horrors & the woodwitch icon, etc

Great Idea! I'd love to actually see CW come to Alora. Rewards would also be nice to get, though Dragon Defender is normally a small grind to get. If there was to be a Dragon Defender in the reward shop, I'd love to see a combat level requirement to entre CW so EIM/HC/UIM dont abuse the store.
