Hello everyone,   Today’s update brings with it some important changes to prepare for our Leagues tournament launch tomorrow, though there are some significant changes we’ve included, such as much faster cache downloading both on mobile and desktop (no more getting stuck starting up for awhile after an update), the city of Keldagrim, Rellekka Rooftop Agility course, traveling by Fremennik Boats and the ability to use the "Expanded Chunk" setting of RuneLite plugins to expand the max draw distance from 144 tiles to 184 tiles. Rellekka Rooftop Course: Players can now use the Rellekka Rooftop agility course at level 80 agility. This course has 7 agility obstacles to tackle per lap, and provides marks of grace, as with other rooftop courses. Two new Fremmennik achievement diary hard perks have been added, one providing an extra 140 base agility experience for completing the agility course, and the other providing a 25% mark of grace boost. Keldagrim: Players can now enter Keldagrim. This can be done through the cave north-east of Rellekka, or by teleporting to the blast furnace and going up the stairs. Most of the shops and thieving stalls have been added to Relleka. This includes a few new types of stalls, such as the crossbow stalls, crafting stalls, and silver stalls. Fremennik Boat System: Players can now click on boats or speak to sailors near docks in the Fremennik area to sail to certain parts/islands. This works similar to the charter ship system, where any sailor can take players to any dock/island in the Fremennik province. Cache Downloading Changes: The Cache should now download a lot faster when starting the client for the first time, or when restarting the client due to an updated cache. It should now be 2-3x as fast. Chunk Rendering Expansion: The “Expanded Chunks” setting available in the GPU/117HD/Alora plugins will now increase the rendered distance by 40 tiles south/west. Previously, increasing the expanded chunks would only increase the render distance in the north/east directions. This will expand the max draw distance from 144 tiles to 184 tiles. This is available on all rendering modes (LD/HD/117HD/GPU), but be warned that performance will be worse as you increase the rendered chunks, as you’re rendering far more tiles. Players will also now be able to click on the extra tiles that are drawn to walk to them. Previously, a click on the expanded north/east tiles would now path the players to those tiles. Walking Queue Expansion: Previously, the walking/running queue would only allow players to move up to 50 tiles away in one click. Players may have noticed that previously when they clicked on a tile that required them to path a long distance, their player would just give up part of the way through and stop. This limit has been increased from 50->200 tiles, so players should now be able to path to their target destination in the vast majority of cases. Object interaction expansion: Players can will now be able to path to any object they can click on that is within 100 tiles of them. The expanded chunk rendering system will not allow players to click on some of the objects that are too far to the north/east due to some client limitations. Royal Titans Changes: Fixed an issue where the boss healthbar would sometimes break when switching between the two titans. The delay players must wait when royal titans transfer to the platform has been significantly shortened. The royal titans corpses will now face the proper direction after dying.  Quality of Life: The previous tasks for Konar and Krystillia will now be tracked. Previously, we only tracked nieve tasks, so eternal donators, or those using the slayer cape perk could not receive back- Toci’s gem shop now has the correct stock. Players can now store all Chompy bird hats in the POH armour case. Players can now store the 2025 halloween event rewards in the Toy box. Players can now build the greenman statue in their Formal garden. The dragon axe/Crystal seed/Dragon hasta will no longer be announced over yell. Players can now Minimize the minimap by right-clicking the world map orb on the desktop client. The minimap icons now use more modern sprites. The prayer icon will now become yellow when quick prayers are activated. Damage drops can now be used when in combat with another player. Bird snares are now stackable. Players can now access the chaos altar from the wilderness. The wilderness diary achievement to collect 12 red spiders’ eggs can now be completed by picking up noted spiders’ eggs, and from obtaining them from the rogue’s chest. The Amulet of Avarice will now note drops from mobs at the Wilderness Chaos Temple and Zombie Pirate Locker. Event boosts: Event managers can now toggle drop rate boosts up to 1.2x for the following bosses: Yama Doom of Mokhaiotl Clue Scrolls will now drop as a tertiary drop. This means that players will not miss out on other loot if they obtain a clue scroll. This was already true in many instances, such as raids and many new bosses, but not for older bosses and many regular mobs. God wars dungeon bosses/minions now have an increased render distance. Krystillia can now assign moss giants as a wilderness slayer task. Players can now break down oathplate armour pieces into 50 oathplate shards at the Ancient forge. Alora’s native HD has received a large FPS boost on some devices. Players who have higher end or newer graphics cards will notice that their FPS is up to 70% higher in some cases. Fixed some z-fighting issues on Alora’s native HD mode. Players may have noticed this on the lottery board, or on some of the icons on the floor in the grand exchange. Mark of darkness now lasts 3x as long. Players can now unpack noted sets on the trading post/grand exchange. The Completionist announcement will now happen when the player obtains completionist requirements, rathre Players can now teleport out of the Lunar Diplomacy and Recipe for Disaster miniquest fights. Zulrah and Cerberus now use new healthbars and have a boss hitpoint overlay. Players can now enter the Body altar with the use of a proper talisman/tiara. The loot tracker will now precisely track clue scroll casket loot. This includes loot that fell to the ground and did not end up in the player’s inventory. The model outline renderer (used by the inter highlight plugin, object indicators, npc overlay) now works on Alora's HD. The COX light colours plugin will now work properly on Alora’s HD. Increased the time before players are kicked out of a Guardians of the Rift game. Players with level 54 Woodcutting can now chop down Arctic pine trees for 40 base woodcutting experience. They can also burn the logs at level 42 firemaking, providing 125 base firemaking experience. Players will no longer receive an Abyssal orphan from the font of consumption if they have already obtained one. Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug where sometimes empty shop stock wouldn’t show the “0” symbol over an item, indicating the shop was out of stock. Salamander net traps will now expire when the player logs out. Fixed a bug where the farming guild floors had a black texture on Alora’s HD mode. Fixed a bug where gilded altars would have a black texture on Alora’s HD mode. The Fremennik shield now requires level 30 defence to equip. Fixed a bugged animation for the Gnome battlemage. Sol heredit will now be facing the proper direction when sitting in his throne. Horned Graahk's now drop Graahk fur. Fixed a bug where Adamant/Rune dragons would not trigger auto-retaliate on a splashed attack. The armadyl godwars minions will no longer attack players outside of the chamber. Fixed a bug where players could safe-spot some god-wars dungeon minions by keeping them in the opposite corner. Fixed a bug where players sometimes wouldn't be able to attack their reanimated ensouled head spawns. Auto-cast spells will now be reset after a duel has ended. Players will now automatically stop chopping infected roots after 20 minutes of inactivity. The speed at which infected roots will be chopped has been slightly reduced. Fixed a bug where receiving a demon tear would have a chance to trigger the infernal axe effect. Fixed a bug where sometimes npc's in instances would wander off into the infinite void. Fixed a bug where clicking on items in the Collection Log Overview when viewing another player's collection log would output the viewing player's name, rather than the viewed player's name. Fixed a bug where the exit object was not removing players from the fight during the Lunar Diplomacy quest battle. Fixed a bug where Dawnbringer would apply the player’s autocast spell when equipped. Fixed an issue with the hunting knife animation being incorrectly placed on 2010 mode. Completing Yama contracts that provide specific loot will now add that loot to the player's collection log. Fixed an issue where some runelite overlays would not render on Alora’s HD. The Giants’ foundry plugin has returned to the plugin-hub. The Ghommal avernic defenders will now count as dragon/avernic defenders for the clue scroll plugin when the player has the relevant Falo the Bard step. Fixed a bug where the Fighter Torso (or) was not considered a fighter torso for the falo the bard step. Vet'ion's shield bash attack will no longer stack on the player hit delay. Previously this effect would stack, so if players were on a 5 tick delay before their next attack, it would increase it by 4.8 seconds (8 ticks) to a 13 tick delay. If the player got hit by another shield bash, this would also then only increase the delay by another 8 ticks. The Dragon bolt (e) special effect will not apply to players who are protecting from magic. The slayer damage boost will now apply to Dawn on gargoyle tasks even if players don't have the Double Trouble perk active. Fixed a bug where inventory presets would not withdraw potions from Potion storage in the proper inventory slot sometimes.     We hope you’re excited and prepared for the Leagues 6.0 launch tomorrow!     Hello everyone,   We are excited to show you all what we have been cooking for our sixth edition of Leagues. In this dev blog, we will be going over what to expect, both new and old content.   For those unfamiliar with the idea of Leagues, it's quite simple. You make a new account that is locked to the island of Kourend and your goal is to complete as many tasks as you can in 6 weeks. As you complete more and more tasks, you will be given the option to unlock other regions. Achieving certain point milestones allows you to unlock Relics, which are overpowered boosts to your account.   Now lets run through all of this in a little more detail so you can familiarize yourself with what's to come.   Regions We will be running back the system we had during the last leagues, but with a few changes. By popular demand, we have unlocked an extra region for you to enjoy right off the bat; Karamja along with Kourend. This will give you that little bit of variety at the beginning to spice things up.   We have also expanded the list of regions with two new additions; Fremennik and the Wilderness! This unlocks content such as the Dagannoth kings and its echo variant, Duke Succellus, Vorkath, Corporeal Beast, and a lot more! It's important to remember that you will have to be very careful when selecting regions, as you can only unlock three other regions on top of Kourend and Karamja.   Third region unlock: 90 total task completions required. Fourth region unlock: 200 total task completions required. Fifth region unlock: 400 total task completions required Unlocking the Morytania region will provide players with a Drakan’s medallion.     Raids Megarare Vouchers Just like last leagues, when you complete the Theatre of Blood, Chambers of Xeric, or Tombs of Amascut, instead of obtaining the corresponding mega-rare item (Scythe of Vitur, Twisted Bow, Tumeken’s Shadow), you will instead obtain a voucher than you use to claim any of the 3 mega-rare items. This is great for people that enjoy doing a specific raid but would love to experience a megarare from another raid.     Echo Bosses Each region has a specific boss that players will be able to take on in a harder echo variant. Players can do so by killing the normal boss, and obtaining the corresponding echo orb to challenge the echo boss, similar to the Awakener's orb in the main game.     Rewards Sol Heredit: Sol heredit (echo) will drop the Sunlit Bracers and the Sunlight Spear: Sunlit bracers: These bracers, when equipped, will double any base healing received from sources such as the amulet of blood fury, blood spells, guthan’s, etc.. The effect does not double modifiers, such as the Zuriel’s staff/bloodbark effect on blood spells. Sunlight Spear: This is a powerful spear that can charge up special attack stacks, one for every time the players attacks with it, up to 20 stacks. It has a unique special attack that consumes 7 stacks, attacking all enemies in a 3x3 area with typeless damage. The damage is also boosted by 3% for every prayer bonus the player has.   Kalphite Queen: Kalphite Queen (echo) will drop the Drygore Blowpipe. Drygore Blowpipe: This is slightly weaker version of the toxic blowpipe, but has no special attack and does not require zulrah’s scales to use.   Grotesque Guardians: Grotesque Guardians (echo) will drop Gloves of the Damned. Gloves of the Damned: These have the same stats as Barrow’s gloves, but also apply the effect of the Amulet of the Damned.   Corrupted Hunllef: Corrupted Hunllef (echo) will drop the Crystal Blessing. Crystal Blessing: This blessing provides +5 prayer bonus, and allows all melee weapons to take advantage of the accuracy/damage bonus of crystal armour.   Hespori: Hespori (echo) will drop a Nature's Reprisal. Nature’s Reprisal: This is a very powerful weapon that can attack with magic/range/melee, similar to salamanders, but more powerful, having an attack range of 7 tiles.   Dagannoth Kings Dagannoth Kings (echo) will drop the Amulet of the monarchs and the Emperor ring. Amulet of the monarchs A three-in-one amulet, with upgraded stats compared to the rancour, anguish and occult. Emperor ring A three-in-one ring, with upgraded stats compared to the ultor, bellator, magus, venator, suffering, and ring of the gods rings.   King black Dragon King black Dragon will drop the Thunder khopesh and the Thousand-Dragon ward. Thunder khopesh It has a passive effect that grants standard, successful hits a 20% chance to summon a delayed lightning bolt at the target's location, damaging enemies in a 3x3 area for up to 50% of the player's max hit ​​​​​Thousand-Dragon ward While equipped, the player is immune to a number of status effects and attacks, including poison, venom, dragonfire (except from drakes), icy breath, swamp decay, disease, desert heat, and chill stat-drains   Relics Relics are powerful buffs which are unlocked with League Points. Relics offer bonuses that boost actions related to gathering, processing, teleportation, and combat. Upon completing the league tutorial, players are presented with the choice of their first relic between three. Additional relics can be unlocked as players reach certain point thresholds and unlock new tiers.   We think the Relics are in a good spot, but we feel like a few tweaks here and there to spice things up would be greatly appreciated. First of all, we have changed the Tier 4 combat relics. Instead of picking one combat style for the entirety of leagues, you now get to pick them at tiers 2, 4 and 6 in any order which allows you to enjoy combat to its full potential.   We have also decided to include the Corrupted Shark and Corrupted Potion from Gridmaster, which are unlimited consumables. We are also introducing two more relics to the table; Golden God and Reloaded, which can be found in Tier 4.
