Hey while I was cooking manta rays and sea turtles, I've noticed there is a high burn to cook ratio even with 99 cooking and the cooking gauntlets. This happens pretty often.

Maybe increasing the effect on the gauntlets will be a good improvement. I'm pretty sure this would be really handy especially for ironman accounts.

If you wear the cooking skill cape, you will never burn any food on Alora.

Oh I had no idea about that thanks! Still, the gauntlets are considered useless then. There's no point buying them from the achievement shop. Maybe they should act like the cape and do the same cooking affect.

I agree with this, otherwise it makes the gloves useless.

Indeed @Syntax that's true.

But still with the gauntlets (bought with achievement points) and level 99 cooking you should not burn that much, it's a lot.
This has been suggested a lot and I still support this, hope this will be considered for the people who are not informed that a skill cape helps with not burning them.

@Sheep @omega3001

You need 99 cooking to wear the cape, so technically the gloves provide a use leading up to 99. However, there's clearly an issue with the cooking gauntlets, as you still manage to burn manta rays etc even at 99, where on osrs you would not.

You have my support.
