After maxing on Alora, I found myself trying to play in the most efficient way possible. I found that none of the benefits given by a maxing a skill are unable to be accessed. Therefore I have a few QOL suggestions.
1) Cape functions
Not all of the capes have functions that would be extremely useful. Here is a few of the ones I think should be added
- Ardy cloak: teleport to farming patch (at the moment we have no direct farming teleport methods and running to all available patches is very time consuming)
-Attack cape: no need for warrior guild tokens to get defenders (there's already a way to skip directly to the dragon defender so why not add a less glitched method)
-Defense cape: ring of life teleports (this is extremely useful for hardcore ironmen)
-Range cape: acts as avas (not sure if this is currently in game or not)
-Magic cape: free spell book swaps (should be limited but would add pking aspect to the game)
-Hitpoints cape: 2x restore rate for hp (great for slayer/grinding out monsters)
-Agility cape: acts as graceful cape (graceful already takes entirely too long to get. It shouldn't take 20m xp to get full graceful as a MASTER of agility should already achieve it)
-Crafting cape: teleports to crafting guild (max cape also has this and it should be put into use)
-Slayer cape: 10% chance to repeat previous task (great for grinding bosses/monsters that have unique drops)
-Cooking cape: never burn food EVER (a MASTER of cooking should never burn anything)
*one way around the farming patch teleports is to up the price of the amulet of farming from the achievement store and add direct teleports to patches. Making it available to everyone would ruin the opportunity to create more game content worth working towards.
2) Broad Bolts
As I made my ironman, I went on to see that broad bolts were the best bolts for me to get with ease. Little did I know that they have no range strength or accuracy. Using these will max you an 8 and that is completely a waste for them to even be in the game. Creating the bolts is some of the best fletching experience in the game and definitely the best alternative on a budget.
3) Vote Books
I love how vote books work on this server. The store is ideal for the market and the points are given in an appropriate amount. Unfortunately, I found out that you can use vote books on your ironman making the game mode completely buyable. I think this is a feature that should be removed. I agree that bonds should be able to be given this way. Vote books are a way to buy skills for ironmen. The crystal chest provides bars for smithing, which is pushed forward to fletching. You can also get specific items such as ranger boots and dragon boots which is the easiest way to get them imo. The entire vote book gifting feature should be removed because of this. You can still use the code on your ironman and do the same but at a much lesser volume. I wouldn't be surprised if people spent fortunes on transferring vote books.
These are just a few of the things I have noticed since coming back into the game. Appreciate any feedback from fellow community members.
