We all know the Construction update is coming out "soon" (1-2 weeks according to @Lowkey), but what happens after that?

Of course small bugs and glitches will always be worked on, however we do not know what the next big thing will be.

As many of us know, the developer(s) could go many different routes with the next big update for the server, and if we are being honest, they(?) may not know what direction to take either.

The term "we pay, we say" gets thrown around jokingly plenty, but it has some truth.

Ultimately, the players are what keeps the server going, so it would only make sense to let us help determine the course it will take as well as what should be prioritized.

------> My suggestion is after (or before- to start brainstorming) the Construction update goes live throw out an official poll with various updates the Dev(s) think are rational and can be accomplished.

That sounds pretty reasonable right? Tell me what you think.  :idk:

Perhaps having community live streams, similar to Oldschool Runescape, in which the administrative team talk with players about up-coming updates and discuss new ideas. Whether the team would go this far is a different story though.

Relative to your post though, I think they should introduce an in-game polling system in which players can vote for specific content and prioritise new content over others. Perhaps a scale relative to how urgent or how quickly the specific player would like to see the content in-game.

Either way, good idea.

This is what I was thinking. I'd love to see an in-game polling system, similar to OSRS. While currently we do have a place for content polls, not everyone is a massive user of forums and I'm sure a lot of the players hardly visit / login to the website so having the polls in-game would have a better response.

Inferno is another big project Alora will be tackling. So there's that, followed up with that we will poll game changing pieces of content but also have our own plans of what updates to push based on how the community suggested previous content.
