Myself. Im a huge Rune-Server advertise lurker. I tend to find myself checking out server advertisements to check out development progress..personally I must say Alora is in deep dou dou if we do not update a few things. 

 

A lot of the times I've noticed normal players constantly articulating alora for its dead content after completion. Refer to suggestion 1.1 for a solution to potentially fix this. 

 

Here are a complied list of suggestions that I have.

 

 

 

 

1.1

Once and only once you've achieved completion. You are presented the option to revert your normal account to an ironman..Keep in mind not bearing the normal silver iron icon but instead a different icon to distinguish between normal ironman and comp'd normie switch.

 

1.2 Surveying as some servers have already made use of the 'Runelite' client. Alora being ranked 1 should also make use of the client to single out any server differences to keep players (making alora a majority)

ex. Player quits Alora because player 1 likes the RuneLite client server x offers. 

 

Also. With that adding plugins to make the a client & game play much more appealing for instance

Small things like to make the game much more appealing. 

 

 

Seeings as most server's are benefiting from this implementation. Already Alora being the ranked 1 server. Making use of this would attract all the players that prefer client content to diverse and join Alora making Alora a rsps giant. 

 

 

1.3 Adding another server world primarily for Raiding. 

 

1.4 Adding the our beloved RS Minigame Stealing Creations. This would not only be a unique pieces of content but It would be the first fully function stealing creations in the rsps community that loads 113 upto reversions leading to 667. This would be immense! And would attract a lot of players.

1. Can't see how this would be an improvement to the server, what point is there in allowing normal gamemode users to transfer over to Ironman after Completionist? It makes no sense. 

 

2. Support. This would be a great improvement to the client. 

 

3. No need. There isn't enough traffic to justify adding another server just for Raids.

 

4. Server is modelled after OSRS, Stealing Creations is RS3 content therefore highly unlikely it will even be considered.

No thanks. Maxing/Comping on Iron takes a lot longer than it does on normie. Adding such option would make playing Ironman from the start pointless because you could just Comp a normie and then transfer. I thought the whole point of your suggestions was to prevent dead content post Comp, yet your suggestion completely undermines a popular gamemode. Even with different emblems to distinguish between the two it's completely unfair. If you Comp out your normie account and want a challenge, feel free to start an Ironman/EIM/Classic account from scratch.

The only suggestion I support is runelite client integration. Alora tries to stick as close as possible to osrs and I feel these features would nullify that effect. Plus the idea of other wolds has been shut down before as it would divide the community

I like the idea of the RuneLite client, and definitely support that idea, as for the others, there's no need for them. The only instance I think another world would be appreciated is a PvP world, with integration between the two wolds, and as for Stealing Creations, it's definitely a nice minigame, however Alora is a OSRS based server, and until OSRS adds it, I don't see Alora adding it.

I agree with @Iron Foxit and @Mhk here. I would like to see a RuneLite client extension but can't support the other suggestions.

1. Just start any type of Ironman account from scratch, the creation of Elite Ironman on Alora already serves as a new and exciting type of Ironman from the standard hardcore, ultimate, and Normal Ironman modes in OSRS. Also agree with with @Iron Foxit said regarding the color change etc.

2. I personally have never used any of the 3rd party clients but I know they are super popular with OSRS players and it isn’t anything game breaking so why not.

3. Unless Alora gets to thousands of players online at once (which will hopefully happen one day seeing the rate the server is growing at) I would recommend keeping it at one world so all players can see and interact with each other.

4. I came to this server from RS3 and stealing creation is a great way to get loads of bonus exp but seeing how OSRS does not have this game mode I see it having no place on this server.

1. No support. Just create an Ironman from the beginning. Just can’t see the benefit to the server from this.

2. Fully support. This would be awesome.

3. Maybe in the future if the server grows. But currently unnecessary.

4. I never even played RS3 so no idea what this is.

1. No support what so ever I don't see a point in it besides just making another Ironman.

 

2. I would definitely support this! I would love a farm plot timer or the countless other QOL things an external client can offer.

 

3. We currently do not have the necessity to have another server dedicated to just raids. It's hard enough finding a team in the "deadzone" timezone in the first place. No support

 

4. As much as i actually enjoyed Stealing Creation it is not an OSRS minigame. Therefore if OSRS were to add it I would happily support the addition of it. But I don't see that happening any time soon so sadly no support from me.

I'll look into the RuneLite integration, I know that the code for it is open-source but the plugins are not "plug and play" with Alora, otherwise we'd already have it. They are designed to work with OSRS and contrary to what you might expect, our code is quite different to that of OSRS's own. I will look into it though, and if not then I can definitely add the same features into Alora's own client nonetheless. As for the other suggestions, I feel the same as @Iron Foxit towards them.

Love the runelite suggestion, it'd be a top tier upgrade just from a client update.

Yeah, I have to agree with a majority here. 

 

Creating a normal account to just make it an ironman afterwards sounds silly. It's extremely backwards pertaining to the fact that Ironmen are known for their hard work on not being able to trade and buy everything. They have to do shit on their own accord like the massive grinds for cerberus boots and zenyte shards.

 

I do however enjoy the idea of the integration.

Omicron has answered this one, and the only one that will be a possibility in the future is the RuneLite integration.
