Hey,

A really like the "Yell" system as a global chat, but think it could do with a couple of QoL changes.

1 - Have some way of 'ignoring' certain uses comments in Yell so that it doesn't pop up (aside from adding them to the ignore list which does work, but means you can't ever talk to them in game). I have nothing against gamblers in Alora, but I don't really enjoy seeing the same spam messages about it :).

2 - Have some way of changing the text colour for Yell messages. E.g. the Clan text being red is a good way of distinguising it from normal local chat. Perhaps blue or green would be a good colour, or have an option to choose the colour.

Tbh for the most part I have Yell muted because it fills up my chat box too much to have both the Cc and Yell on.

Cheers :)

You pretty much answered your own suggestion, just turn off yell. These aren’t really necessary in my opinion.

You can turn off yell, but that means that you miss a lot of the stuff that you do want to read =D

Personally I do agree with not wanting to see certain things/users in yell, but I feel it would take a decent amount of work to try and create some sort of super filter for yell. There are far more concerning matters that should be addressed first, but I wouldn't be opposed to this. Maybe even just having an option when ignoring a user to maybe just ignore there yells instead of all of their messages? I do agree with the color variations, definitely makes things easier to read and tell where they came from.

Suggestion number 1.

I think that would not be much needed, it would really be a waste of time, if you have a problem with them, be calm, deal with the situation with caution or ignore them.

Suggestion number 2.

I support this suggestion, in several rsps has, and even in the 07 itself, and would be very effective, really confuses many people.

Suggestion number 1: yes the idea behind it is good, but is development time really worth it?
Suggestion nummer 2: I would love a little bit of custom QoL.

Sorry but that is the whole point of the ignore feature, its not like your talking to the gamblers anyway so use the feature. You can also turn of yell or make it friends only etc. For your second suggestion, I don't really see a point to it. I can tell the difference quite easily, but if it is really necessary than sure.
