Hey guys,

 

It would be cool if we could get earth runes from the barrows loot chests. Currently we can get water runes, which is super helpful, but earth runes would be fantastic for Ironmen to use with the veangence spell, as it's pretty heavy on the earth runes (10 per cast).

 

Additionally the kodai wand and tomb of fire can supply infinite runes and are awesome as late game weapons, but there isn't really an earth rune equivalent, aside from the earth staff (which isn't great as a weapon). This is totally fine, but could be nicely balanced by adding earth runes as a possible barrows drop.

I think this would be a nice thing to have as the Iron Rune Shop is not in-game yet. I'm not sure about the staff situation, but I feel like when combo staffs are also fixed it will be fine.

FYI: Dust Devils drop x300 earth runes. have acquired a lot from slayer.  just hoping for a dust devil multiply in catacombs and earth runes probz be easiest run to get.

To add onto this, tortured gorillas can drop over 500 as well.

Support, don’t see why not to be honest. Will make it very nice for Ironman’s doing barrows for runes.

Definitely can get behind this, I am still hunting barrows for two items so it would be nice to get some earth runes also. Would give a nice method to earn some, great suggestion.

No support. This is not in osrs/rs at all and we all suffered to get earth runes some way. However I wouldn't mind seeing more earth runes from certain NPC's that already drop earth runes to be increased in loot, maybe for example if moss giants drop 27, instead they can drop 100 or so? That's just an example.

To be fair one can also say that we should get all the shops at ironmen on osrs get on alora because its on there as well. Of course that's not the best idea, but not having it ingame keeps a good integrity for the game since alora, no matter how hard it tries, will not be osrs. This is another example. Both games offer different things that benefit their game.

I use entangle while killing Verac, so it would be nice to get some Earth runes over the course of some runs to help sustain the barrows runs.

Support, my earth rune stack is pretty low compared to every other stack.
