What is your suggestion?: To revert the barrage nerf.

Is this in OSRS?: no

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:no

How would this benefit Alora?: I think reincorporating the old barrage would benefit the server making not so exciting/difficult tasks more viable as they previously were such as inferno, slayer tasks, and general mage training for the lower xp player types.  I think this update affects the majority of the player base poorly and just because its in OSRS doesn't necessarily mean we have to have it here. Thank you for your consideration.

What is the nerf you're referring to? What NPC are you trying to do a barrage task for specifically? Because there was a recent bug fix for barrage, but this might have created other unintended issues rather than an intentional "nerf".

Not sure if I agree with reverting the change.

Out of the examples you listed, the only places this change has made a difference was inferno. It doesn't really make sense to me how one of the more challenging pieces of content could've been nearly afk'd for a best in slot cape. For the other examples (slayer tasks and general mage training), it has remained relatively the same.

 

I believe the reason you made this suggestion was because of the boss mass event, which allowed you to do like 700+ damage with one barrage cast consistently. And sure, todays boss mass wasn't as fun as before because of this, but @Moe adjusted this and made everyone stand at the south part of the area and spawned the bosses closer together, which made it pretty much the same as before. 

 

So yeah, for now I'll say no support until someone actually gives a reasonable explanation as to why it should come back.

Can you perhaps explain for everyone what the changes were exactly? I think people would be more willing to give their input if the information was presented here

Would be curious to know what the change actually was before giving an opinion? I hadnt noticed anything different
