Why does ICE Interest you? - ICE interests me because it's a mixture of Extreme Ironman, Classic Ironman, and non-ironman players. It's a good Cc with server moderators and support which helps flow information in and out of the Cc. Most of my questions I've had, had been answered and it's a very welcoming cc with little flaming and a large amount of support. I like playing Ironman, even though I'm new to it, and having this amount of support is very helpful not just to me, but to other people who may not have known.

That was supposed to be a secret :/

So this is a challenge that I first discovered from Woox when he did it on OSRS. The idea is that you let the Nibblers kill off the pillars in the first 3 waves and you finish the inferno without them. Since I discovered it, I've done multiple attempts. I even completed it once. However, when I completed it I didn't feel accomplished because I mostly used Ice Barrage to control the spawns which means the only reason I made it through was lucky RNG that I didn't get combo'd out before I was able to freeze.

 

That being said, I decided to not bring Ice Barrage (Staff of Light in place of a Kodai Wand). It took me a few attempts but I finally completed it.

Welcome to my Thermy Guide.

Thermy is a Slayer Boss that is actually super simple to kill. And seeing as there's still currently no other guides for it, I figured I would go ahead and make one.

 

 

*NOTE*

You MUST be on a Slayer Task in order to kill Thermy.

Required: 93 Slayer + Smoke Devils Task

 

 

 

1. Notable Drops

 

 

 

2. Gear Setup

TLDR; Slayer Helm, your best melee Slash weapon, either Max Strength or Mage Defense armor. Optional Spec Weapon and Imbued Heart (for extra Mage Defense). Bring more prayer pots if you're not going to prayer flick Piety.

 

 

 

 

3. Getting There

 

TLDR; Teleport Wizard > Dungeons > Smoke Devil Dungeon > Run North-West.

 

 

4. Strategy

TLDR; Use Piety and Preserve if you have it. Dump specs when you have them. Overhead Prayers have NO effect.

What makes you think you deserve the rank - Ever since I started Alora, I've been in the ICE cc (Thanks to Cahsay who's my irl best friend). I have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Runescape as a whole, as I had comp cape in Runescape pre-EOC, and then also Maxed in osrs. I use that knowledge constantly in Alora. There's obviously differences between Alora and OSRS, and those are differences that I spend a lot of time learning in order to be the best I can be for myself, and for ICE. I'm constantly helping in cc if I'm not doing something that requires my utmost attention. I never once have caused an issue or arguement in the clan. I advertise (I split yells between ;;vote reminders and advertising for CC). Overall, I feel like I am a great fit for ICE, and embody what ICE as a clan is for. I don't get to play as much as most people do, but when I'm on I make the most of that time in terms of training and helping in the cc.

Why does ICE Interest you? - I love this clan. In Pre-EOC runescape i was in nothing but warring clans, so I was weary about being a member of ICE at first. But the way each member supports each other is remarkable. The staff is awesome. And the overall atmosphere is just amazing.
