Hey guys today's 1v1 Range Duel Only tournament will begin at approx 8:00 PM Server time. This will be a post for information on the Tournament and how to enter. This event will be hosted at the Duel Arena, you may come spectate by typing the command ;;duel. The signups will close around 7:55 PM Server time.

Also please try to refrain from participating in any combat related activities when the event is ongoing.

How to play:

We will be meeting at the Duel Arena, Moe will pair players using a bracket system. When the round begins, Moe will spectate matches to proceed winners. Any form of cheating, will have no warnings (INSTANT DQ). As far as what rules are allowed, this is Range Duel ONLY staking (no prayers/armor/food/etc). View below.

How to Signup:

Comment your in-game name down below for you to be added to the list, you are not allowed more than 1 account in the Tournament (we will be checking IP/MAC). A topic of the bracket and who you will be facing will posted after the entry topic is closed.

Boss Hunt Event (All Weekend) - Players will hunt to obtain "Pet Dark Core" (Corporeal Beast) for a reward of 250M GP. This event will be available once the Weekend Bonuses are enabled. This event will run for 72 hours. Players are required to provide a screenshot with the current server time and the current date in the chat box to win. If you receive the pet, send a private message with the proof. (One Winner)

Skilling Hunt Event (All Weekend) - Players will hunt to obtain the "Golden Tench" (Aerial Fishing) for a reward of 150M GP. This event will be available once the Weekend Bonuses are enabled. This event will run for 72 hours. Players are required to provide a screenshot with the current server time and the current date in the chat box to win. If you receive the Tench, send a private message with proof. (One Winner)

Events on Friday will begin at 7:00 PM server time (UTC).

Bonus Experience - All players will receive 1.5x bonus experience. (This stacks with the Well of Goodwill, Vote Book XP, Skill of the Day, etc.)

Skilling Hunt - Players will race to see who can obtain a specified skilling pet first. The first player to do so will receive a 75M reward.

Mage Box Tournament - Players will go against each other in a 1v1 Mage Box ONLY tournament at ;;duel. Prizes will be awarded for those who manage to place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the tournament. An information and registration thread will be posted in the events section of the forums prior to the start of the event. You must be registered to participate.

Cox & TOA Bonus - CoX & TOA loot bonus will be set to 1.2x.

Events on Saturday will begin at 7:30 PM server time (UTC).

Bonus Experience - All players will receive 1.5x bonus experience. (This stacks with the Well of Goodwill, Vote Book XP, Skill of the Day, etc.)

PvM Hunt - Players will race to see who can receive a particular drop from a specified boss or NPC. The first player to do so will receive a 100M reward.

WHIP/DDS Tournament -  Players will go against each other in a 1v1 WHIP/DDS ONLY tournament at ;;duel. Prizes will be awarded for those who manage to place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the tournament. An information and registration thread will be posted in the events section of the forums prior to the start of the event. You must be registered to participate.

TOB, NM, & Gauntlet Bonus - TOB, NM, & Gauntlet(all day) loot bonus will be set to 1.2x.

Events on Sunday will begin at 7:30 PM server time (UTC).

Tempoross Mass Event - Players get to join Moe for a mass at the skilling minigame Tempoross with the 30% bonus! Cash prizes to the first player to get the Tiny tempor, Fish barrel/Tackle box, tome/harpoonfish. The event will last for 1 hour.

Nex, Yama, & Doom Bonus -  Nex, Yama, & Doom bonus will be set to 1.2x.

Today we have some staff changes for you guys! First I would like for all of us to wish Tauri some blessings, as he was not able to post for you guys due to irl personal reasons. Wishing you the best, boss! Second, we appreciate all the hard work these boys did, and because of it they make Alora a much better environment for all you gamers!!! 

Congratulations to all the promotions, and we only have one demotion in these changes.
