This one feels weird.

 

Anyways...

It's been a mostly fun almost 2 year staff journey for me. I got staff some point early 2018 and Admin in late August. Throughout my time in staff I've accomplished some pretty amazing things, But unfortunately unless you are/have been/will be staff you won't get to see them. : )

 

But, I think this is where the journey ends for me.

I've recently become too busy with real life things and other games to be able to have the presence I know I could have/previously did show.

 

I thank mostly everybody who has been staff during my time and helped me or worked alongside me.

I'll tag a few people below who currently come to mind but I know I'm missing a ton of older staff. (I'm getting old, Barely remember breakfast.)

PVP Suggestions - 

 

1, Target Priority - Allow players who are assigned someone as their target to have priority on being able to hit them as it is in 07 (E.G if your targets being attacked by a player/npc you'd be able to PJ them off and allow you to fight target)

 

2, Fixing Zuriel's Staff - Make it so Zuriel's staff is the same as 07 DMM catching a freeze with it makes it 25 seconds and not the default 20 seconds, Will actually give the weapon somewhat of a good use.

 

3, PvP armours/weapons - Fix these armours from being lost on death/destroyed for such little reward. It doesn't make sense to have such high valued items give players 250 Pkp each when PKing a player for them, This is way too low and should be changed to being able to get the items as broken causing you to have to repair for a decent amount of cash/pkp per charge or dropping a considerable amount more than they do at the moment.

 

4, Destroy Emblems - Remove ability of players being able to destroy their emblems in wild when being attacked by other players just to spite the player that's killing them, Make it so it's like not being able to drop items over 50,000 GP

 

5, Revenant cave teleport scroll - Make it so it teleports you outside the top cave at level 40 wilderness as it does in 07, as it being bottom cave completely ruins the purpose of them.

 

6, KBD Instance - Fix the bug with being able to buy a KBD instance then not having to risk going back in to re-enter instance. ( at the moment players can just buy a KBD instance and then re-access instance by just using Giant moles interface and it putting them into KBD Lair without needing to step foot in wild)

 

7, Elo system - Consider adding a Elo system in wild/edgeville that gives players a reason to want to edge pk, Also maybe give rewards to top 3 each week who have highest elo

 

8, Adjust Pkp prices - Think this should have been done a long time ago and its way overdue, fix the prices in PkP store to a more stable value as at this time there all way over what they should be.

 

9, Dragon Bolts - Allow us to have the chance to buy Dragon bolts from PkP store as at the moment bolts are really hard to come by as not many normies do the boss and sell their collection of the bolts. Can also make it so Dragon bolts can be given from bloody chests and supply chests.

 

10, Buff range - A lot of PKers already know this but range is way too under powered compared to how it is in 07 at least this can be said for Bolts. not as much along the lines of arrows.

 

11, Rev Emblems - Make it so emblems are always dropped on death as they are in 07 so it makes the risk of carrying them a lot higher, Also make it so you can trade emblems in whilst having them noted as this is also allowed in 07.

 

12, Skotizo - This should of been fixed a while ago but make it so Skotizo will drop the emblems given when killed on the floor so players have to pick them up, instead of it being able to be put into players inventory or if their inventory is full it's automatically deposited into their bank.

 

13, Looting Bag - This probably should of been updated a while ago when OSRS added the fix, Make it so you can open/close the looting bag as the way to use/deposit looting bag now is terrible, Also maybe allow us to buy Looting Bags from Pkp store also.

 

14, Runelite Client - I know this is probably a lot harder than just being able to add it in, as I've heard it would interfere with the HD feature that is in-game right now, But I can probably say this that 95% of the servers player base would much rather prefer a Runelite type client over being able to have the game played in HD.

 

15, Skotizo Risk - Make it so people can't 1 item skotizo anymore, completely destroys purpose of the boss and the risk you're meant to be taking by attempting to kill him.

 

16, Skotizo Loot - Fix the bug when skotizo is killed that other players can rob the loot that's in your name immediately such as the ancient crystals and other supplies that you can receive ( Runite bars, Ranarrs, Snaps, Rune items)

 

17, Bounty Hunter Target - Fix when getting targets it shows for both players, as of now you can get assigned a target and tele to them without them even having you as a target also. Also allow us to have the interface in chatbox when teleporting to target on whether they are in Singles or multiway combat

 

18, PVP Weapons/Armour - Allow PvP weapons/armour to be used at ;;edgepvp / PvP areas like Duel, clan wars as well as show their actual hits on combat dummy

 

19, Fake XP Drops - Allow players who have locked there XP to see fake XP drops for PKing, Allowing them to see what they're going to hit (Can make it so it's like OSRS where if you have a skill over 200m/Or you are an Ironman attacking a player in wild you get the XP drops but it isn't actually added.) 20, Dharok armour set - Rework Dharok's as at the moment it's completely broke to the point its better to sit high HP and axe than risk low hp and being able to hit high, Which completely ruins the point of dharok PKing. 

 

 

Suggestions that I would like to see added in some what future that would be a nice addition on the PvP part of Alora. ( Some of these may have been suggested before but would rather have them together in a list than randomly spread out on suggestion thread.)
