Talks about prices being unstable/too high...Merched crystal seeds to 50 mil last week.

 

 

That's the whole reason behind this topic, it's not just me who does that (lost money doing that btw) It's with any item on the TP. Somebody with 5-10b cash can easily buy out a certain item and make it go up in price by 20-30% and players are left without an option. Reading through some of these comments I like the idea of adding some sort of "limit" on buying a certain amount of an item per day.

• Less money in the economy and more price stability
  • This also means that if you take a break from Alora and come back after a month, your money can still buy almost exactly what you were able to buy with it when you come back.
• Less GP = Less inflation (items won't increase in value as much)
  • Since we don't change the money that comes in through drops/thieving/alching, price stability is very important so that we can keep new players and make sure everyone doesn't have too much trouble affording necessities.

• Seller loses a % of GP from the item sold
  • Our plan was to impose the fees on the seller, so when they claim their GP a certain amount would be subtracted for fees.
• Trading post will be used less and basic trading methods will be more popular.
  • This may not even be a consequence, but we might see more people trading off of the TP. On one hand this promotes interaction between our community, but on the other hand it could mean less goods are available on the TP.

This suggestion was made awhile ago when we first introduced gambling. Omicron made it clear on that suggestion that there will be only 1 trading post and it will be located in edgeville.

Since july of last year I have put everything I can into this server. Since we released on November 4th I have seen this server continue to grow. Yesterday was a huge milestone for us as we hit 760+ players and we all owe it to you guys.

Omicron has been working day in and day out on this server to provide you guys with quality content and updates. Not to mention he does almost everything by himself.

So, thank you Omicron, staff team, and especially the community of Alora for doing everything you do to keep Alora #1.

Tired of your little cheap shots at me via update topics Omicron. It only took you 4 months to fix the PM issue.

On topic - looking forward to playing HCIM and destroying everyone that gets in my way.

This doesn't mean Blank has to accept her application directly. The community needs to decide, not Blank

 

 

The community will never decide who gets promoted onto the staff team. Blank also didn't decide to promote them, I did.

 

I have been watching her and Cam only sit in help cc for hours on end for the past 2 weeks doing nothing but helping. They are both extremely active and helpful which is why we chose them so quickly. You should be happy that we have QUALITY server supports to benefit you and rest of Alora when you need help.

I'm going to be running a poll for 1 week to find out what you guys want to see in future updates. If you do happen to vote for something can you please give a brief example or even ideas of what you would like to see, Omicron and I will be visiting this poll throughout the week and gathering ideas from the community. Please take your time and vote and have a chance to be heard!

 

I'm not going to add bug fixes to the list as those are done weekly when new updates are released.
