Interesting Points.

 

I think the thing you need to remember that this is Alora, Not OSRS.

 

Alora does not have the same size development team as Old School does, So that does mean there will be a few things that don't work as attended, There is a Bug Report/Suggestion section that you can suggest to be fixed. They do tend to prioritize things that are more important than say the catacomb jellies.

 

For the team we have, They have done an amazing job so far and it can only get better.

 

Just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts.

Where do I begin?

 

After quitting late 2019 due to the birth of my little man, I never expected to return to Alora. But here I am.

 

Before I begin, I'd like to point out that this is not an ass-kissing post. If you come to know me you'll know I'm honest and say things how I see them.

 

P.S - These are only updates that have been implemented in the game whilst i've been gone.

 

• Achievement Diaries

The implementation of the achievement diaries is a big yes from me, A massive props to the dev team for adding this in, Having to put in effort to get things such as the Ardounge Cloak 4 and Varrock armor 4 now gives you a sense of achievement for putting in that work and taking your time to complete the diaries. One of my favorite updates to come back to.

 

• Weekend events 

It honestly brings me joy to see these weekend events are still up and running, This is a staple that Alora has been consistently doing so a massive props to the @Event Managers

 

• Collection Log

It's only fitting that I add in the implementation of the collection log, Do I really need to explain my reasoning behind this? Who doesn't love the feeling of getting that green text in the log itself.

 

• Runelite Client

I've always been a fan of the regular client but to have a working Runelite client with the plugins for a RSPS is beyond spectacular, Another amazing props to the Devs on this

 

 

 

To the current staff team: Seeing the activity and interaction you have with Alora is amazing to see, I believe we have one of the better staff teams I've seen in my time. It's awesome to see some new faces on the team and sad to see some of the old ones go but like in life, everything happens for a reason. Keep it up +1 from me

 

All in all I still believe this is the Number 1 RSPS to have ever been launched. With amazing stuff and constant quality updates, The future is bright.

Personally I feel the achievement diary update made it so that there was a sense of achievement and reward for actually completing them.

I feel adding in combat achievements would do the same! Plus you can't tell me then slayer helm re-designs don't look sexy AF!

I would support this if the ROW (i) picked up the caskets but not opening the caskets for you.

But support only if it picks them up! Maybe for Donators?

My name is Connor.

I'm most known for @iOlmlet
But as you can tell I'm not posting on iOlmlet.

Alot has happened in the 2 years I've been gone, From welcoming my beautiful son into this world to tireless nights, meeting amazing family's sharing the same reward of being a parent.

With life being perfect right now I've decided to pick up Alora again. My one true home. I jumped onto iOlmlet and struggled to pick things up from where I started. Mainly due to dropping my high tier items for giveaways for the amazing ICE community members back in later 2018.

Confused on where to start, I have decided to start from scratch and now Who is Ivy is born.

First thoughts since being back on Alora... It's good to be home.

I'm a forum addict so you'll likely find me on here, In Alora or on my OSRS Hcim.
