Got the week off work, and I usually use my holidays to go away or do something adventurous, but this time I’ve decided to be a lazy ass and stay home gaming all week for a change.

What TV series would you guys recommend binge watching while I’m off?

Some popular TV series I’ve already watched, just so you guys don’t end up recommending the same ones:

  • Breaking Bad
  • Band of Brothers
  • The Sopranos
  • Better Call Saul
  • Lost
  • The Walking Dead
  • Prison Break
  • Orange Is the New Black
  • Reacher
  • Tulsa King
  • The Rookie
  • Peaky Blinders
  • The Last of Us

Been thinking about giving The Wire a go. Anyone here watched it?

Honestly depends on the genre that you like but here are the ones I've watched and not on your list:

  • Game of thrones
  • House of the dragon
  • A knight of the seven kingdom
  • The witcher
  • Stranger things
  • Silo
  • Widow's Bay
  • Behind her eyes (a 1 season limited series with an ending that will make you go WTF)
  • His & Hers (also another 1 season limited series)
  • Dark
  • The boys
  • Dexter
  • Daredevil
  • Severance

Probably alot other good ones I missed but these are the ones I loved and remembered off the top of my head. Not ranked in any order XD

How’s The Witcher been since Liam Hemsworth took over from Henry Cavill? Is it still worth watching, or does it just not hit the same anymore?

Watched Behind Her Eyes when it first dropped on Netflix, and that shit still haunts me to this day. A new mini-series called All Her Fault just came out, and I’m real hooked so far. Really intriguing and keeps you guessing. It’s 8 episodes in total, and I’ve got 2 left to watch.

Silo is on my to watch list. There are a few series I’ve tried getting into but struggled to stick with. I actually need to get back into Daredevil, so cheers for the reminder.

Just a few I’ve watched that I preferred to others as well and can recall from a little skimming / main streaming networks they’re on.

Prime - House, Fallout, Cross, The terminal list, Jack Ryan, Invincible.

Netflix - Hannibal, Locke & Key, House of Cards, Designated Survivor, Ozark, The Ranch, Tires, The Lincoln Lawyer, Night Agent, The Last Kingdom (movie to finish series as well, similar to peaky blinders)

Hbo - The wire, (only other ones I can recall liking on HBO are the got related ones scorn already listed lmao, all good in their own ways)

Paramount - Dutton Ranch (sequel to Yellowstone so I recommend to watch Yellowstone first as well), Landman

Been meaning to check out The Terminal for a while now, just wanted to make sure it hadn’t been cancelled after S1. A 4 year gap between seasons is crazay.....

Gonna check out the rest of your recommendations too.

I feel like a lot of shows did this with the strike that happened a while ago

the wire is good but I liked the sopranos much better. I'll try not to recommend stuff that's already been suggested above

• The Pitt - fast paced intense medical drama that focuses on the reality of the ED rather than fluff drama

• American Horror Story - each season is an entirely new story so you can shop around brief season bios and see if any are appealing to you

• The Boys - a dark humour take on a world where superheroes actually exist, but they are corporate owned & corrupt

• Black Mirror - each episode is a standalone story, dystopian/thriller about the consequences of modern technology

• You - psychological thriller about a man's romantic obsessions that lead him to stalking, murder, manipulation, etc

• Twin Peaks - diane, who killed laura palmer?

• Hannibal - crime drama/thriller following serial killer hannibal lecter, lots of manipulation/deception and a visually beautiful show if that matters to you

Shows that are an easy binge/background noise show: The Office, Criminal Minds, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Degrassi

A lot of good suggestions above. As @RG12 and @Heaven Sent said, Silo is very good. I also liked Heaven's suggestion of Widow's Bay on Apple TV, it's fantastic. @Logan suggested Landman which is a favorite of mine. @Mieu suggested The Pitt, my wife loves that one and I will say I enjoy having it on in the background

It's a longer series, like 1 hr episodes, but I enjoyed The Man in the High Castle on Prime.
