What is your suggestion?:

Slightly increase the drop rate or quantity of Oathplate shards received from Yama. I've completed over 300 KC and have only received a little over 100 shards. Considering it takes 450 shards to craft a single Oathplate piece, the current rate feels extremely slow. I'm not suggesting making Oathplate easy to obtain, but an increase in shard drops would make the grind feel more worthwhile, especially for players going dry on actual armor pieces.

Is this in OSRS?:

No, this would be a custom adjustment to Alora. Oathplate shards exist in OSRS, but I'm suggesting increasing their availability on Alora.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not that I'm aware of.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Oathplate shards are supposed to provide a way for players to gradually work toward an armor piece even when they aren't getting lucky with unique drops. At the current rate, I've spent over 300 kills at Yama and am still nowhere near having enough shards to craft even one piece. At this pace, it could take well over 1,000 kills just to accumulate 450 shards. A small increase would make Yama feel more rewarding and give players a more realistic sense of progression without significantly affecting the value or rarity of Oathplate armor. This would especially benefit Ironmen and players who consistently farm the boss but go dry on uniques not saying myself but others.

SUPPORT  I feel the same way it seemed a bit insane to basically rely on the uniques solely when you could go super  dry

Support! Considering Oathplate isn't widely adopted for PvM, a marginal increase in shard quantities is unlikely to significantly devalue the armour pieces. Instead it'd make the grind feel more rewarding and improve overall player happiness :P

Im neutral for a little buff on shards rate, i dont think it's needed but if it motivates ppl to grind yama more, why not?

Though, oathplate shard isn't supposed to be the main way to obtain your full oathplate armour.

I think the pity system is fine as it is, it's there in case u need that 1 last piece, and tbh if u are only 1k kc doing duos only, it's really not that bad considering the rates for duos.

And if i you feel a bit unlucky on the shard rate, solo yama farming shards is pretty good!
