I'm still relatively new but how exactly do ironman get so much bonus EXP whilst constantly playing?

I'm still relatively new but how exactly do ironman get so much bonus EXP whilst constantly playing?

I spend all my gp on vote books

Eventually you cannot purchase them for gp, can you ?

You can transfer gp from ironman to normal accounts by suiciding in wilderness
