Just saying, this guide is not yet finished as I am playing an UIM now myself and this is just a collection of all the tips and tricks I can gather over the time I spent talking to all the ironmen and trying to get to max.
Here are some other Ironman guides that might help you at aswell!
Also check out some of my suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
Hey everyone!
If you are wondering how to start an ultimate ironman or just need some tips, I got you.
The first and probably most useful thing is untradeables!
If you die they show up in the lost item manager shop, you can use that to "bank" some items.
Here is a WIP list with where they are obtainable aswell

Ava's Accumulator [pest control] [vote store]
Dragon Defender (any for that matter) [kourend dungeon, cyclops 1.23%] [warriors guild, cyclops minigame takes more time]

Bonecrusher [Achievement Manager]
Fire Cape [Fight Caves]
Cooking gloves [Achievement Manager]
Chaos Gauntlets [Achievement Manager]

Crystal Halberd [Crystal seed from Zulrah]
Now to start off, I am just going to throw random tips your way, in no order.
To get your first easy onyx. you can camp tz-haar monsters and sell their drops for tokkul.
When you drop an item, it stays on the ground for 3 minutes, you can use this to do stuff at the bank with a much larger inventory space, just don't forget to pick up your items!
The magic spell Vengeance other, can be used on your UIM if you don't have the runes/magic level
Crystal keys are love, I spend so much of the money on my main on votebooks for my UIM. get them from slayer and vote shop
Collecting coins is still a good thing, you can either buy back untradables, put it in the well or die in wildy to a reg account to transfer.
Be sure to have an awesome first slayer task, under I think 40 slayer the cancel is free.
You can use bonds and votebooks on UIM from a regular account.
Elite Void is probably the best thing to get armour wise in the early UIM game, as you have all 3 styles with just a helmet switch, and they can be bought back fast.
Elite void takes a bit longer to obtain, and is also more expensive to get back from the lost item manager, but the prayer bonus helps so much.
Skeletal wyverns drop most of the supplies you need for early game zulrah.
Farming is super helpful, anti-fire potions and prayer restores are a blessing.
You can use Votebooks and Bonds from your main on your UIM to give them vote points or donor.
As an UIM your inventory space is key, If you are planning to fish like 3k sharks or something, be prepared to have sharks in you inventory for a long time. This is for everything, holding on to skilling supplies just slows skilling down.
The Scorpia Boss, vet'ion Boss, Venenatis Boss, (all in wildy) drop the Rune Pouch at 0.49% !!!
If you're just making a fresh Uim account, I recommend doing all the noncombat skills you can, because once you start combat... bye bye inventory space. - suggested by Kappa
Save yourself a bunch of hours and get all your wilderness skills done while you have nothing to risk. such as agility, hunter, smithing, etc.
Mine gold and make into amulets for 99 craft, this will take care of Mining and most of smithing (finish with ckeys or just do some smithing while you are at resource area). - suggested by Hex
Someone also told me wildy agi course is faster than seers so do that too till 90 while you are risking nothing. - suggested by Hex
Wouldnt bother fishing there, its nice to be able to actually use your food for slayer or something instead of dying to some bored max gear kid with no one to pk. - suggested by Hex
To obtain certain gear!
Bearhead / Proselyte harness m set / Proselyte harness f set
Talk to Hamal the Chieftain in Draynor Village.
Pray melee when doing the fight.
I had no weapons/armor and maxed combat and had prayer points left so it should be easy enough.
The m set costs 49,526gp
The f set costs 66,519gp
The bear head costs 35,000gp
I buy a set whenever I died and just need to kill some monsters to get more gp to buy items from the lost item manager
Rune Crossbow
Iron dragons / Steel dragons / Skeletal Wyverns / mithril dragons
All have a chance to drop either rune limbs for all the dragons.
or A unstrung Rune Crossbow from the Skeletal Wyverns.
If you actually want to go for the Rune Crossbow there are a few efficient ways.
You can wait out your slayer tasks till you get one of those monsters as a task. I don't recommend this.
You can kill Skeletal Wyverns, they have the same drop chance as the Iron dragons but are easier to kill.
You can safespot Mithril Dragons, which make them easier to kill then Steel Dragons.
I did Wyverns myself as they also drop Adamantite Bars and Uncut Rubys which I both needed to make Ruby bolts (e)
To string the crossbow you need to use a raw beef (kill a cow in limbrudge) on a spinning wheel, use that sinew on the unstrung crossbow. voila.
Dragon Defender
The Teleport Wizard > Dungeons > Kourend catacombs
Walk south until you see the Cyclops
They have a 1.23% or 1/82 droprate of JUST dragon defenders
Ring of Recoil
To get the Sapphires, you can either steal the from the Wall safe at Rouge's den with 50 Thieving.
Get them randomly from mining any ore, I recommend doing gold ore as you will need gold ore anyway to make the actual ring.
Raids, This can net you up to 147 Sapphires but is way harder than the other methods, so that is up to you.
To get the gold for all those Sapphires you can either mine it yourself at various places.
Get it as a drop from various monsters including: Gargoyles, King Black Dragon, Thermonuclear Smoke Devil or Kalphite queen.
Amulet of Glory
You can get dragonstones in 2 ways, but I will personally only probably ever use the first.
Crystal Keys, you can get these as a rare drop table reward or from voting points.
You can get more voting points by buying vote books from the TP and using them on your UIM.
Dragon Implings have 3 uncommon drops, 1 amulet of glory, 1 dragonstone amulet or 3-6 noted dragonstones
Darts for your blowpipe! (can also be used to train early ranged levels)
As iron ore is the fast to smelt into bars, and Skeletal Wyverns drop 200 iron ore noted.
You can make a ton of darts in a short amount of time, now yes these are just iron darts so you are not as accurate as with adamant or rune darts but you can use this to camp demonic gorillas or any other monster that drains your darts like crazy without having to use the good darts.
And yes you still hit pretty decent.
Adamant/ruby bolts e
To get the adamant darts you can do a few things, either mine/smith them.
Do barrows run, they drop adamant bolts commonly.
Kill Skeletal Wyverns, they drop adamant bolts, adamantite bars, and uncut rubys.
Raids, now raids drop 1–167 noted adamantite ore, 1–1,500 noted coal, and 1-120 noted uncut rubys so they would get you the most in quantity, but also a lot of different possible drops that will fill up your inventory
Skilling tips!
Prayer
After some easy achievements I recommend buying a bonecrusher, it does take up one inventory slot constantly but you never have to bury any bones, just doing pvm and slayer will get you your 99 prayer, at that point you can get rid of the bonecrusher
Thieving
As Coins are not super usefull on your UIM, thieving is a skill I mostly use whenever I have to buy back items after death, I will then thieve at home.
Or whenever I need gems, I will then go to the Rouge's den and crack the wall safes there.
Crafting
As you need 90 crafting for a fury, most people do want to train this skill fast.
There are a couple ways to get reliable crafting xp.
You can mine (or pvm) for gold ore, smelt that into bars, and then smelt those in to amulets.
You can crack wall safes at the Rouge's den with and cut all the gems you recieve.
You can spin flax, now spinning flax is decent xp but picking the flax is a waste of time. Do this if you need the xp and you get a flax drop from zulrah/kurask.
What I did myself is camp Skeletal Wyverns for their uncut ruby/diamond drop and cut those, as I needed other drops from them aswell.
You can combine the wall safe cracking and amulet making if you have the inventory space available.
Herblore
http://www.alora.io/...herblore-guide/
Gigabyte his guide is on point.
The only struggle is that the only noted secondary drop is in the wilderniss, or you have to pick them by hand.
farming
You can get pretty much all seeds from pickpocketing master farmers, you need 38 thieving for that.
from 1-32 farming I did just raking all the patches, I did all 4 locations once and took me about 3 minutes to do.
After this you can start planting rannars, for prayer potions later on.
Skeletal Wyverns drop ranarr seeds.
from 26 you can also do limpurt roots, they give a ton of xp.
Join Ironmania cc they are very helpful.
