Thermo-Nuclear spawn rate?

Just wondering if we could look into the spawn rate of the boss and possibly speed it up. it is very slow. For a boss that takes 20-30 seconds to kill on average, 60 seconds of down time between kills seems a tad overkill.   I find the best way to motor through the task is to kill a smoke devil after the boss is dead

Maybe the spawn rate is just increased?
Maybe there could be more than one floating around that little lonely cave
Maybe we look at doing a cheap instance?

I like the boss, Love the pet. But it could all be just a little bit easier, and more accessible

its one of my favourite slayer task's however, and i always try to do it. i skip if anyone needs the boss

@Omicron is open to suggestions like these and considering the spawn rate is quite slow, it could use a buff - possibly even an instanced version

 

 

It's a task where players become bottle necked. The update yesterday helped open up more slayer creature spawns/areas - instanced gwd update from a few weeks back is a positive too

 

This should be addressed, as it's been suggested numerous times before, and it won't hurt the economy one bit

i feel all bosses need a faster respawn time. an hour instance is 80% waiting 20% bossing

Agreed, also it's not just thermo which needs a decrease to the time it takes to spawn but most bosses as fat nerd says instances are 80% waiting and 20% bossing and therefore not worth paying 4-5m for, especially for myself and other ironman mode players.

Another minor gripe,

115 hellhound task, killing Cerb counts toward your slayer task. Well, duh Cerb is just a hellhound on roids

 85 smoke devil task, but killing the Thermonuclear smoke devil doesn't count toward my task at all. 

Can this be changed? its really not an issue, just a minor discrepancy

I support this topic as I always run into 1, if not 2 others while on this task. A faster re-spawn time, instance with a fee, or even 2 spawns with multi-combat option would all seem beneficial. The task tends to be more waiting, and less playing. Most players are nice enough to take turns, but that isn't always the case. Even just reducing the re-spawn time could save a lot of time for all the people crammed in the cave.

I agree. I think the respawn timer for this boss should be cut in half.

A faster respawn timer and a instance would both be nice, as the room is not multi the first person that clicks it just gets the kill.

Which can be very annoying if you are trying to do a slayer task at the same time as 4 other people.
