Just a simple suggestion to add XP drops for the experience you would have gained from a hit, when your combat experience is locked.
 

Currently, when you lock your combat XP you don't have XP drops which can be a pain in the ass for pures/zerks using a tent while PKing or doing slayer/PVM when they dont want to gain attack XP, using spear in deep wild and accidentally poking with it due to lag, etc. Maybe to differentiate that your XP is locked they would come down in a red colored text instead of the normal white, or a small padlock next to the XP drop? 

Anyone see any problems with this I might not have thought about? Thanks.

You mean like still get the xp drop to see what you hit but actually not gain xp?

This would be a good suggestion.
