Currently, when left idle; you stop tracking played time in your quest tab. I'm suggesting the same factor be applied to the vote book timer for people who accidentally forget to logout.

I agree to this. It's very annoying to be stuck in the chair for an hour unable to leave without wasting 4m (or 12 hours I guess)

This is actually a good idea, support. Loads of times I've accidentally left my account logged in overnight and woken up to see that I've lost like 500 BXP mins...

Support, if it can be done then it seems fair to do it

I'm going to support but the way that this is tracked is going to have to be very specific to make sure people don't abuse this (someone will find a way).

Perhaps wait 5-10 minutes before the tracker actually stops, that way it's completely not worth trying to tick manipulate it

I'm sure there is a way to track non-action; there should simply be no input.

Realistically, there should be a 30-45 second timeout before non-action is triggered at which point you are officially "AFK". I had a little think (takes a lot at 8am in the morning) and I can't think of any single action that takes longer than this.

No support on this from me. The way I see it now is a good incentive for players to continue voting because it does drain. Not only is it good incentive to vote again which helps the server, it should serve as a means for players to log rather than idle. I've never used a vote book for the bonus exp without the intent of making full use of it. As for play duration timer, this is implemented to for multiple reasons, one being Loyalty Point abuse for example.

Edit: I'll support this IF the only way to stop it from draining is to log out.

I'll support this.

If it were to be added:

- Any sort of combat continues/reactivates the timer

- Any user input reactivates the timer

- Any exploit used to avoid activating the timer is rewarded with an account suspension/ban

Another idea for this: Locking your accounts XP stops the timer.

If it can be done with almost absolute certainty that one cannot abuse it, I fully support this suggestion.

A great alternative, that I'm sure has been suggested before and probably turned down, would be to add inactivity log off.
