Adding the loot notification from OSRS that shows everything above a player set value in chat. This has been suggested as an overlay before (such as the item overlay from OSBuddy or Konduit) but there is an official feature in the OSRS client that allows you to show drops in your chat with a player set value.

This would help seeing drops and esp drops that's not announced to global such as herbs or alchables or just everything if you set the value to 1

Attached images shows the interface

I like this idea, however it would need to be done in a slightly different way. The values the OSRS tool uses are from the Grand Exchange, something we don't have. However, as a whole this would be incredibly handy to have.

I don't see why we can't use the TP exchange values. Or just use the high alch value in case the TP value is 1. (try to exam an item, it'll show ~TP value)

The trading post uses player set values which is a hassle, if we use the highest price people will put bones in the TP for max cash so every bone appears. If we use the lowest price then useless shit will appear that's rarely ever traded and has "joke" offers in the TP.

Also the examine is, as far as I can tell, an estimate/random number, not what it goes for in the TP. But since it seems like most items already have a value assigned to them in this examine system, this could work. However, I feel that the absolute best option is the way OSB does it, which is just banning certain items from appearing.

I like the idea. Curious to how you would pin loot notifications for things such as herbs since they don't really have TP value. Potentially a place that you can manually type in what you're searching for such as OSBuddy's overlay.

That would be the optimal solution and having it as a 3d world item overlay (just like osbuddy) with items you can highlight but seeing how this is "already" in the client it might be easier to add (I mean we have shift dropping from the official osrs client). You could always just have a toggle for using TP or high alch items.

Just feels like it's such a QoL feature to having some way of seeing items, either as an overlay or as a notification in chat. Some items blend in well with the backgrounds and are easy to miss (seeds for example)

I may have accidentally come off like I didn't like the idea, I absolutely do! I'd love for this to be a feature, just wanting to work out the potential kinks in the system :P

Already been suggested. I still love the idea though.

Support.

Would love for more Old School RuneScape/OSBuddy client features to be implemented to Alora. I support.

I think this is a great idea. Would be very handy to have something like that implemented in the game. Hopefully it could be done based of average tp prices? I support this.

Although this is a cool idea, I don't see it in the foreseeable future of Alora. Something like this would take up a lot of dev time seeing as we dont have automatic GP values for items like the grand exchange does.
