I checked QoL section couldnt see it,

but in OSRS they have an option to toggle the Vial smasher so it when you finish off a potion instead of it returning an empty vial in the inventory it will just smash it and effectively remove it from the game.

 

Would be a nice improvement since i and i'd imagine alot of other people just drop them anyway.

This feature already exists. Speak with the Emblem Trader in Edgeville to enable it.

If you mean after drinking it, you can toggle this off at the emblem trader. If you talk to him, you toggle the last option (see picture).
