While I think it defeats the hard purpose of grinding ironman game modes, I support due to this is an RSPS. We should be making things easier & similar to OSRS with a twist. That and I don't see an issue with this, just allows the game mode to have more content.

Keep in mind these items can never be used on the ironman account itself though, it would have to be pushed onto a non ironman account to become a regular useable item.

Yeah, I was thinking of the (PK/PVM/etc content aspect). Didn't see the part where it can never be used, makes it even better.

Was thinking that was a ridiculous idea until I finished reading the first sentence... Totally support this, as someone who uses iron accounts as their mains and normie accounts just to buy books and bonds I'd love to be able to use my "mains" at events such as drop parties ect.

I think you're creating a unique solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. You'd still need that normal alt account to transfer those grayed items to anyway, and the ironmen that want to pk just do it on that alt.. maybe I'm just not getting it, but I certainly don't see how this would be "revolutionary".
I actually really like this idea applied to classic mode pking though, it'd be a good answer to @king purple's suggestion post a while back.

This lets ironmen pk and get/upgrade emblems all while looting drops. This makes their dragon claws/armadyl godsword/ely etc. useful.
If you've played an ironman account and you're pking skotizo in the wilderness - you're really only focused on killing skotizo (apart from koing a player to stop them from dpsing skotizo/dpsing you). Ironmen would now be interested in killing any and all competition knowing that they would receive the loot.
A large portion of the playerbase only plays ironman mode. This let's them profit much more easily, and they can then xfer the wealth into bonds to increase donor rank on their irons.
This allows ironmen to participate in all aspects just the same as regular accounts, all while allowing no advantages in the ironman mode than previously possible.
-----------
The only arguments against this that I can think of would be a waste of time coding, and or the argument against ironmen participating in pvm/pking and wanting them to remain a solo type account in nature. The arguments against this are really only based on morality of the game mode itself.
I think if players take the time to really fully grasp this concept and what it could do, it would be supported.

A suggestion that was up for a while but declined was classics recieving a key with the loot they pked that could only be opened with a regular account, and it got declined because it was too much coding, so i highly doubt this will pass.
I've come with terms with the fact that if i want to pk for something else than pkp, i'll do it on my normie.

that's broken in itself considering they could save so much inventory space. Like I said the only logical reason for this being declined would be the coding involved. @Omicron curious on how difficult this might be.
