i think the recent update on revenants has sparked up pking again. this is a good thing because i noticed people were saying that pking was dead on this server.

so its good to see people out there in the wildy again and this update has brought that, at least for a while.

 

one problem with this update is its 1 single world, so revenants cannot function like it can on OSRS because people will be farmed and hassled over and over for no reason by pkers.

 

to combat this, i think there should be a fix by adding if you kill a 1-3 itemer, then you receive a  punishment in someway.

this would combat the farming of 1 itemers by pkers for no reason and give 1 itemers less of a hassle. as alot of people trying to obtain these newly added items are being player killed by just having 1 item only and then the pkers doing the pking get the farming of the new items all to themselves

 

Leading to an item + pk double farming, which seems a little unorthodox. this is why i believe a punishment system should be added when killing 1-3 itemers.

 

 

 

Also i think the spawn rate on the new items seems a little too common. there's been 10+ already and update just started.

there's no trolling being done.

if you log in right now you will see that the update isnt functioning as intended.

if revenants were located somewhere outside of wildy, there would be nobody going there. the only reason people are going to revenants is to try obtain the new items.

but they are being player killed while even 1 iteming for no reason.

this update is just more or less just  feeding the pkers

 

so @Mhk - if people had a different way of getting these items, im pretty sure people wouldnt go wildy lol. besides im not saying the update is a bad thing. it has brought pking back to life at least for a while.
what im saying is, it doesn't function as you would like it to function on just 1 world/server like it functions on OSRS that has what 100 different worlds.

and due to the items being so easy to obtain and over 30 people have them already. its just milking and feeding being done imo

They are located in the wildy for a reason, to get these items you have to take a chance with pkers. There is no reason to punish pkers for pking?

I have to agree that the high risk of killing revs is dealing with pkers. It’s high risk high reward, I don’t think surviving in the wilderness should be made easier. No support from me.

that's a valid point.  my point is, these so called "pkers" you speak of are being spoon fed. they are not earning anything. more like bullying their way. and that's fine as it is indeed the wilderness. But the insane number of drops that have already dropped are all going to these so called pkers and it hasn't even been that long since the update has been introduced. maybe the drop rate on these items will change, but it wont change the fact that people have been spoon fed riches already in drops and in pk points.

IF you enter the wilderness. You are considered free  game. Its the wilderness for a reason. If you wish to train and not be bothered; I suggest to seek other methods of training.

No support. Big risk big reward opportunities killing revs. If it’s in the wildly expect pkers doesn’t matter if you risk 1k or 1B people will attack you.

I've played servers in the past where you are not able to kill players with 1-3 items if you have more than 3 items, but in my opinion, I think it ruins the whole purpose. Revenants are in the wilderness for a reason, to create a risk factor in return for a potential nice profit, that being said, players should not be limited to who they can and cannot kill in the revenants cave, becauses it simply defeats the purpose of having revenants in the wilderness.

no support. HOWEVER i think maybe the ragging rule should be taken more seriously. if the same person kills you 10x in a row in attempt to either farm points or piss you off. there should be a limit to that, or a tiomer until they can kill that particular person again
