i really cant be asked doing the inferno. i was wondering if it would be possible for players to have a second equally as challenging method of obtaining it.

 

for example : 300-500k loyalty points(loyalty points are useless anyway) for inferno cape - i know loyalty points is earned just by playing but you'd still have to be a loyal supporter and play a long time to get your points up to those numbers.

 

other methods include 100k slayer points. or 3000-4000 vote points. but difference is, vote points i wouldn't recommend because you can buy votes. hence buying the cape. totally eliminating your method of earning it.

 

that's why slayer or loyalty points would be my #1 suggestion, as it takes a really long time to earn those kind of points.

At one point I like the fact if it's obtainable by vote / slayer points, which makes people vote more and try to play the game more to obtain the cape. However The Inferno is a challenging minigame that requires effort and concentration, which should be earned. I do like the idea, but I rather keep it original. No support.

yes. but at the same point its still being earned via other methods lol + not everyone is skilled or has the patience enough to complete inferno hence meaning they would never ever ever ever ever ever get it.
why take that away from them rather then giving them a chance to earn it via equally challenging methods.

It's a choice that is made by themselves. The ''only'' equal challenging method to obtain a cape is by doing the Inferno like everyone else.

To be quite frank, players who can't dedicate the time and effort required to learn the Inferno and eventually complete it do not deserve the satisfaction of wielding one. Anyone can complete the Inferno, even without prior experience. In fact I'd wager most players have never done it before Alora. You can read Drai's guide here, it's an in-depth guide that will get you across the line if you put the effort in.

Hellno, this should never happen. Sure Inferno is hard, but its supposed to be. As Foxit said: i completed it and never played osrs in my life. This is simply a "im too lazy to try inferno plz gimme inferno cape" suggestion. No thanks.

No support. The cape has to be a reward from one of the most difficult challenges in the game.

It took me 5 attempts, 2 of which I died before zuk just due to misclicks.
I honestly liked the challenge and the reward is nice. I don't think I would like to give someone the reward simply because they did alot of slayer.
