I seen them working their butts off. They take there own privileges and there own time to help out. give them respect as its all voluntarily.

Well still no point to keep spamming it and flooding yell channel since its annoying af. Yes, I do know yall want to be a part of staff team but pls stop white knighting for it please

Honestly, most servers have terribly hostile community's so i'd just be happy this ones filled with people trying to help. We're better off having 50 white knights ready to help any new player who needs it than 50 people sitting in yell arguing like most servers. It might be annoying but don't take what you've got for granted... Besides, I've only witnessed a couple small arguments at Edge this community is a lot better than average servers.

sitting in yell arguing like most servers? none of the servers size of ours have yell enabled for donors nor allow mods to spam yell channel with 'pm me for help/assistance' every 60 seconds. there is a help cc for that shit + i bet everyone do know who to pm when they need help

Yeah, I somewhat agree with this thread. I've seen staff yelling about "PM me for help or join help cc" etc more than them actually helping in Help CC. Since the server is getting more & more newcomers each day, I think Help cc should be taken as a main priority (besides PMs, ofc)... It's just not cool how most of the asked questions in Help CC go unnoticed, without staff answering them. I'd understand if only a few of them would be unanswered, but it's definitely more than that just "a few".
Or another odd thing - when staff members are in their own CCs, yelling and telling people to join their clan chats to "chill"... like wut?
Just please.. focus on the Help cc more. And you won't have to complain about getting your PMs spammed/broken, or w/e. Just my point of view.

All of this will be gone as soon as automated cc joining is added atm there is none hence why staff will yell need help mail me or join help, yes I agree to a certain extent people play up when they see more staff online and try to help more but I suppose there's nothing wrong with that...

I think this triggered me the most personally, there was 2 supports and an army of staff hunters spamming to join help cc, but when i asked a question it seemed like I was talking in an empty room.
I AGREE that people being helpful in yell isnt nessecarily a bad thing, but it seems the majority of them could be replaced by a server broadcast, that's how repetitive they are.
I know other servers have help cc's that you are put into on login, which if implemented, could save us from the unending yell spam from what seems to be people simply wanting a badge next to their name.
Since Elvemage successfully got support and then moderator by preforming this routine (please dont see this as an evaluation of him personally, rather an observation of what i deem the catalyst for what we are now experiencing) many people have started to replicate his method of just spamming yell with what feels like a copy pasted message.
I understand the need for moderators but promoting people after half a day of mild helpfulness just encourages this behavior. Yesterday i witnessed 5 people with back to back messages all basically giving the exact same spiel, "enable 2FA, make sure you vote and join help cc"
I'm far from the only person frustrated and annoyed by this.
