What is your suggestion?: Reducing price for ammo mould (Maybe just 1k slayer points? Up the cannon pieces in price to balance the change) or moving/adding it to a different shop such as the achievement diary shop, vote shop, daily rewards shop etc. 

Is this in OSRS?: Yes, but you can buy it for 5gp from the dwarf after the quest. 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

How would this benefit Alora?: Well considering you can already obtain 100's to 1000's of cannonballs from various monsters in Alora already, why should it be 7.5k slayer points? Also it would benefit for the daily tasks, which most players won't be able to complete today.

I think I remember the reasoning behind them having it so expensive.. Can't remember what it was, though. Fully support. No reason to have it so expensive.

I agree with lowing the price of the ammo mould. I am on an elite ironman and am currently saving up 7,500 points to get my ammo mould. Although 7,500 points is a bit extreme to be able to make cannonballs. Like you said, offset the price of the cannon pieces to account for the change in price.

I believe since we have skillers and this could be a way for them to make profit+train smithing/low level ironman to train with cannon early, that there should be other ways to get the ammo mould/a slight price reduction in slayer store. It is easy for regular accounts to get cannon balls from doing slayer, but this would make everything easier. Support.

It’s extremely easy to get 7.5k slayer points. Also, I’ve noticed that you usually make enough points back to buy more cannon balls (with plenty of points to spare) per few tasks.

Consider it an investment. It was already reduced from 10k/15k (I forget) to 7.5k.


Honestly, with imbue scrolls and other things added into ;;store, I’d like for Atleast a few items to be grinded for. Ironman in my opinion is getting easier by the day.

No support. As EIM 40a said, 7500 points doesn't take long to obtain.

 

That being said, I would be okay with it being added to the loyalty shop for a fair price as a way for skillers to have access to it over time.

We have already reduced the price of cannon ball mould by over 50% and everyone has been okay with the grind so far. It will not be added anywhere else seeing as even making it a 'store' option was denied. Maybe in the future we can see a change for this.
