[Lynx Iron]

Hi guys!

 

Lately i've been wondering why there is such little use for tokkul, other then the obsidian armour & weapons and the uncut onyx ofcourse.

 

My suggestion is:

Wouldn't it be awesome, mainly for ironman, to add the gem shop in the Thzaar area. 

It would work the same way as in Oldschool Runescape, where you can buy gems for tokkul.

 

(this would benefit the crafting skill, and thzaar's will be more packed, because most people are just skipping their thzaar's slayer tasks right now.)

 

I'm curious to hear your opinions.

Tokkul is pretty useless all around so I definitely support this.

I personally think the way to obtain gems is fine at the moment. You can obtain a lot of gems via raids, slayer npcs, wildy bosses all while keeping the gem mine for extreme+ a valuable reward for the rank. This topic was semi touched on here but I think it was more focused on a monster re-work (Since it was under PVM suggestions).

I'm aware of the fact that there are some decent ways to get gems, but Raids and Wildy bosses are more for people who have played the game for some time. 

And you're talking about the donator ranks, but if they manage to find a way where gem rocks are still more efficient to get the gems, it won't affect the perk of being an extreme+ donator. 

 

It will just add another way for ironman to get their gems on the early grind.

I think this would benefit all IM greatly. As an HCIM I risk too much with my status alone to do anything in the wild, let alone bossing. I would say right now I get a majority of my gems from Mining, which is split pretty close with Slayer. It would be nice to be able to focus all of the tokkul into whatever gem you need. As previously stated it would also bring some life to the caves. It's a ghost town every time I run through there.

 

This would not devalue the gem mine for extreme donators at all. There is no grind needed for the gem mine, where as this method would require at least a bit of grinding to get the tokkul required to buy gems from the shop.

I strongly support this idea as it would give tokkul a use in-game and would also highly benefit the ironmen, good suggestion overall.

Good idea. Tokkul are relatively redundant other than the Onyx's you can get from the store, this would make Tzhaar tasks worth doing and greatly benefit early/mid game Crafting for EIM. Support.

I support this. Gem crafting is rather annoying until you're late game doing raids/etc. And it gives Tokkul more of a use, which in turn makes tzhaars a better task. Overall gives more variety.

I support this. I don't think getting gems this way would de-value other ways of gettings gems enough to be a problem. Not sure too many people that can raid would be killing tzhaars to get gems.
