Suggestion #1

What is your suggestion?: Boss points; similar to barrows points. Explanation of how it would work below. 

Is this in OSRS?: No. 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: N/A

How would this benefit Alora?: Another chance of obtaining an item you just can't seem to get. 

 

Explanation: Each boss would have it's own unique set of boss points you can get for killing that boss.. example) 2 points for killing a quick boss such as Kraken. 5 Points for a medium boss such as the Godwars bosses. 10-20 points for hard bosses such as Corporeal beast. Obviously the points can be adjusted per boss depending how hard it is to kill it. 

 

ALL BOSSES are Extreme slayer task bosses only - Raids 1 and 2 are not in the boss point system

 

How the store would work: You would have an option to pick which boss you'd like to get a chance of a random unique from. Example) Can choose from Kraken [250 points] to roll a random item from Kraken. Other examples being Armadyl, Bandos, Zammy, Sara, Zulrah, etc. 

 

All pets would be excluded from this depending how the community would feel about it. Rarer items would be obviously rarer than other items such as Elysian sigil vs a spirit shield. Must have at least 100 kc from that boss in order to use points for a random drop, so that way someone with 100 Zammy kc can't just obtain a random unique from Corporeal beast if that's the only boss they plan on doing. 

 

This would be very similar to the Font of Consumption except with boss points not an Unsired. All drops would be included in that certain boss, so you could get a bucket, harpoon, kraken tentacle, 125 seaweed etc. from Kraken.

How would this benefit Alora?: Better chance of getting items from a certain boss/monster

 

Suggestion #3

What is your suggestion?: Removal/rework of certain daily tasks such as catch 50 black chinchompas, making cannonballs etc. OR a system to cancel up to 2 daily tasks per day or 12 hours.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: Mainly for hardcore ironmen, lower level players, skillers, and basically everyone. Removes the frustration if someone doesn't have enough slayer points to obtain a cannon mould, getting pked etc. 

 

Also wouldn't mind seeing the prices of some items being reduced.. such as bloody keys, crystal key etc.

What is your suggestion?: Crystal chest boosted drop rate like PvM drop rate bonus 100 kc, 250 kc and 250kc thereafter.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Don't think so.

How would this benefit Alora?: Would possibly stop the dry rates of some players at 1000 crystal keys and no ranger boots.

 

 

Not expecting any of these suggestions to pass, just throwing the suggestions out there - maybe it will inspire other players with other types of suggestions similar to it.

Support on all 4. When it comes to the first suggestion though, like you said it should not include pets and it also shouldn’t have extremely rare items like sigils or anything like that just stuff on the rare drop table for that specific boss.

I Don't Support Suggestion #1 as I find it could make it too easy of grinds/ would eliminate the REEEs of grinding out that 5k for an item for uniques... Yes it's annoying but hey, makes the game last that much longer. ( as im still hunting armadyl chainskirt from arma ) People with good RNG would just complete the team easy.

I also Don't Support as there is not too much to be bought via store w/ tokens for EIM's ect with those in slayer shop. Once again atad too easy if you can get drop boosters that simple in my opinion anyways. unless they were uber duper expensive...

I Support this suggestion but not a complete "rework" fore-say...if anything add MORE DAILIES  "Catching black chinchompas" & " making Cannonballs " Are motivation to grind the slay points for the mould and get a big streak going, The chinchompas I believe should stay as there isn't many Wilderness dailies and we need some... Its enjoyable, I actually enjoyed the catch 50 on 7/11/18. Do it in the morning/night and it's easy. We need to have wilderness dailies imo.   "Cancel" a daily task would be too just skip that task, do just the 1 or how ever many you can do. "Streaks" would be ripp if you could cancel to complete the dailies just ignore them.      I understand the frustration to low-level players as on my classic account I had a 14 day streak going for dailies then ran into the cannonballs one and I sadly did not manage to fulfill 7,500 sllayer points that day, came short of about 200-300 for the mould.

I Support this completely as some people here have gone 1k+ dry without rangers and then you see some people get them within 5-10 opens. Maybe even add some more varients of skilling supplies, not just High tiers, more chances of different bars, different seeds, different logs. 
  Not much else I can relay on this but YES! I used lucky imps for my rangers though, I didn't feel like putting my mindset to This crystal chest better give me ranger boots this time! I have a hat though so far.

Not a fan of your first two suggestions. The boss drop rates are fine as is, there shouldn't be an easier way to get boosters other than with tokens or with gp.

 

For your 3rd suggestion, I think there can be like one reroll a day for daily tasks, similar to how some quest systems work on some other games.

 

For your 4th suggestion, I think that's a great idea, it's only fair that the more keys you use, the more of a chance you can get on getting rarer loot.

Suggestion 1 - Very cool idea, I wouldn't mind seeing it but this is a PvM server and most people prefer to grind so might not get any support from the community.

 

Suggestion 2 - The price would plummet if this was to be done, making them not worth it. I can't support this one.

 

Suggestion 3 - There are plenty of tasks and they are random, it is easy to get the requirements too. Maybe just make it easier to get stuff like cannonball mould. As far as the black chins, the whole point of HCIM is to not die, it is supposed to have a risk factor. Not to be made into an easy baby stepped game mode on RSPS. No support.

 

Suggestion 4 - I think this one is also a pretty cool idea that others would also back, and I would support this one.

On overall I will support suggestion #2 and #4, but below I will state also why I supoprt #1 and #3.

 

#1 No support, I don't think Alora should make the game easier by some points, which would be kinda pointless as I've made this ironman to grind up stuff and not just simply ''buy'' it.

 

#3 I don't support this due @Moe has already mentioned it and I will have to agree with him.

The first suggestion was so bad I didn't even bother reading the rest. Just my 2 cents

#1) To put perspective, I am not an HCIM that already has drops from these, I only have a magic fang / tent whip.

 

I think that adding something like this would eliminate some need of the grind, which wouldn't be fair to those who have battled the RNG gods for far past the drop rate.

#2) I try to think about the game holistically, and not from a certain game mode perspective. As a HCIM there isn't a lot for me to spend tokens on in the shop. However, I think this is a good idea if the boosters had a 'ridiculous' price, something like 500-1k per scroll. That gives an additional method for those who can't donate, but keeps incentive to buy from the shop if able to eliminate the need to grind slayer for drop rate scrolls. 

 

I support this suggestion given the price is right in the shop.

 

#3) These already get reset every day, so I think this system is fine as it is. There will almost always be at least one daily task you can do without risking anything.

#4) Agree, this would be a nice addition for those who actually have to battle with the RNG gods for a drop lolll.
