They changed the loot tables for the npcs so as far as I know you can get those special items from any or like "random" npcs. It is only in DeadManMode however.

pretty awesome drop think they made it so that you can get rare drops like that in deadman mode, might be only wildy but not 100% sure

i think its only in dmm, u can get some items like absebal whip ;) and 3rd age, dragon plate body.. ABSEBAL WHIP

Facts but it is a very enjoyable seasonal mode. Better than OSRS for sure as long as you enjoy pking anyway. :P
