What is your suggestion?:

Have the option to remove a person from your GIM group. Maybe limit it to 1-2. I don't suggest it permanently, unless that's the general opinion people have. But at least the first couple weeks. There's so many people still figuring out who they want to group with, and no removal kind of messes up a lot of groups. I myself have already had a problem. We let someone in the group, then 20 minutes later he remade with "two max eims". It almost feels like you're cheated out of the full group experience.

Is this in OSRS?:

No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No

How would this benefit Alora?:

It's really just a QOL change to a new addition to the game. I've seen multiple people get screwed over because people found " better groups"

Omicron explicitly said in his patch notes that the group partnerships were permanent. It also says that there is no time limit to joining teams so it's not like there is a 12-hour window to rush and find someone or other players like there somewhat is for EIM. Sounds like players need to be more careful about who they select rather than picking members at a glance.

As @Mack said, We all need to be careful in choosing our teams! Our group is quite lucky that we all know each other and get on.

I’m Neutral on this.

I feel like it would be a good addition for at least the first couple weeks, even if it was limited to just 1 or 2 removals. And if that player is removed, they can always find another group, but I truly don't see a down side to adding it in the first two weeks. Especially when our group isn't the only one this has happened to.

I just don't think it's right for a lot of groups to get joked out of the full experience, when you talk to the people, think they're a good fit for the group, then as soon as "someone better" asks them to group, they just leave, and you're stuck with a dead account. I mean, it almost feels like the game mode is ruined for those groups now.

Atleast be able to remove somebody with total level >200 or inactive person, our group is stuck by brand new account that he made and then decided to group with another team so we are stuck with him in it and it just ruined whole team

I mean yeah it was stated many times that when you make your team with 5 it will be final, Good luck though.

I get that it's final, but it's one thing to not like you team, it's another to have a fresh account with 1k xp on it.

If anything I could see him making it a donation.

EIM is $40, I might support this if it was like $75/$100 for group.

I'm in a group where 3/5 people haven't logged in since release day. I know how this feels. I think it would be great to allow a group to kick, or allow players to leave group, especially if its a matter of more than half of your group just not playing. I've dumped a bunch of hours into gim, but it feels like regular ironman except the fact that there is one other person helping.

Warning players that their decision is final is not going to help this gamemode be healthy, I mean yeah, we can just let all the weaker/inactive groups die out and eventually even the active guys will say "f-it" because they can't really compete and they have nowhere to go.

..Or a counter-measure can be put into place so that the experience isn't ruined for a whole group because of 1,2,3 people.

It's just not very realistic that you'll have the same 5 guys being active 1 month, 2 months, 6 months down the line, even if you "know" them

I believe having it so you can remove someone after 'X' amount of in active time is a good idea.

People who say it's not haven't had someone leave yet, they'll change their mind when someone bounces dw

Not having this option is also going to kill the game mode pretty fast after the initial 'Hype' week has passed.

Neutral. I can understand it can be an issue with players getting stuck with inactive teammates, but just like EIM, once you are partnered, it is final and cannot be undone. Pretty much why I have not joined a group yet, so I’m going solo for now for GIM.

Two players are a lot easier to keep on the same page than 5. And I was under the impression somehow EIMs can unpartner?

i agree with this suggestion , however you should be careful of you you invite to your group. but i think maybe an option to block people from using the group bank after some amount of time not logged in to stop players from the group that have quit from coming back later on when the rest of the group has progressed and looting the bank.

I’m Neutral on this.

posts this day before he leaves our grp :(

I would suggest that the removal of someone has to be a majority vote by group members which might be difficult to code but would make it so people dont randomly get kicked from their team.

2 people have stopped playing in my group already, and 1 hasn't said he quit but he is not very active.

Me and the other person are basically playing EIM with better rates.

Support 100%

EDIT:

If a player is removed from your group you may only invite someone with a total level below 500. Would make this fair and would make it so your not just kicking someone for someone better.

As I had stated in our discord, Unforseen circumstances had occurred. Hence why I’m Neutral with this, Meaning I’m not supporting it or not disagreeing with this. I’m sure this has happened to other groups since the GIM release.

I would support this if there was some type of requirement when kicking a member of the group.

Game mode is going to become very dead otherwise after the initial hype has died down

Should be a requirement such as not playing for a month or something
