Please yes, though I still want an alternative cape for the monkeys to be implemented, the golden monkey should stand out more than it currently does for those who wish to keep using the monkey if an alternative was put in

<p>Doing custom item model work isn't really something we do (for various reasons), and it would be a shame to make the new monkey backpack variants that OSRS will be adding exclusive only to the small handful of people who have the completionist cape, so that's also out of the question. That being said, when OSRS releases the new variants, we can make them accessible as a metamorphosis for the completionist/max monkey, but the completionist ones can have some features that are gold (for example, changing that red party hat on the monkey to a gold one).</p>
