You should be able to craft Darklight into Arclight like the normal game. All it takes is owning darklight and having 3 ancient shards. Using the darklight on the dark altar iside the catacombs of kourend would upgrade it granted you have the 3 shards with the sword.

In all honestly since Skotizo got added to catacombs with no waiting cooldown, its not difficult to obtain a arclight with this method. Im no support

What use is the dark light drop if it does nothing in game and cant be upgraded? Is there a use for it?

This is why I suggested craftable arclight, at the moment, darklight and silverlight currently have no purpose, I wanted to give them one by suggesting this. At the end of the day it doesnt really matter, I thought it would be a nice QoL touch.

If the drops have no value remove them from the drop table or implement the change, IMO :)
