Hello, while wanting bracelets of slaughter the best source of red topez seemed to be ham members and even then they are about 1 out of 200 pick pockets. Can we see a better rate or better sources of topez. thanks.

I could agree to making Topaz/opal/jade less rare . Maybe adding a 1/12-16 chance at the lvl 90 stall at ::99. Seeing as its already a gem stall. 

But i wouldnt make it super easy to get. As it could also be a bit of a perk for the Super Donor Rank. Seeing as you can mine those gem rocks in ::dz. 

And honestly using a gem bag even with just the Super donor rank you can hark up quiet an amount of gems already. And super donor rank isnt that hard to achieve.

NEUTRAL on this suggestion. There are some things as Realmundgard said already, where I can +1 on but in the end, super donator rank is "easy" to get and comes with a lot more benefints next to gem mine.

Kinda confused why you guys think it’s fine for anyone under super sonar to have to spend hours to get a few bracelets of slaughter.

Neither of us said that. We only said: If they do make an improvement. It shouldnt render gem mining perk useless. I personally went to super on my Elite before. For the gem mines aswell as being able to easy skip slayer tasks. 

 

I can only speak for myself; I can just say gem mines is kind of a super donator perk. I dont think something as strong as a gem mine (specially for ironman on the crafting side) to be a super easy accespoint.

 

But 5 topaz/ hour pickpocketing is a bit on the low side. i'll give you that.

@Realmungard yes! only recommending to make it like 1 outa 20. still have to tele to lumby and run down the hole to pick pocket. not trying to devalue you guys haha

After seeing the screenshot, I do see where you're coming from. 

 

Proposal:

 

- Add red topaz as shooting star reward (2-3 noted occasionally)

- Perhaps one rock upon completion of a specific hard diary. 

- A few low/medium level MOB's that drops 5 noted red topaz as a loot.

i agree on making it less rare than 1/200. but i think @Real cream came in with good suggestion to. i support both

Support - Do people even use the gem rocks anyway? Kinda silly to hide it behind a donator status instead of a diary imo. 

 

I'd propose fencing in the upstairs portion of the mine, and giving super donator or higher a teleport to the downstairs portion of the mine. 

Give the downstairs portion a 1.2x exp boost to gems mined AND gems crafted, and wallah super donator and higher isn't devalued but actually gets a buff in the process.
