What is your suggestion?: How support posts/ suggestions are dealt with i find weird. i needed help with donation support and my topic was just deleted didn't get to see what happened or what the answer was to my problem, but I've seen other posts have short answered replies and topics been deleted or archived.

 

I've also seen some really good suggestions get declined because why? devs or owners don't agree with it? i feel there should be a voting system either on discord or in game. bring the players into it, one big one i thought would of been great would to be to have a teleport wizard at donator zone. we donate as iron men for some small items but in total we get access to super donator zone and there's nothing there.  i get you don't want to take people away from edgeville but you see no one at edgeville anyway? I've been on when there's 400 people on and i was just like well where is everyone? even still I'm sure majority of the server is a 10$ rank or above anyway even still with something as small as adding a teleporter to dzone may give new players the incentive to donate? and more money into the server means more competitions/giveways? not a bad thing right? but all in all I'd just like suggestions to be able to be discussed about or other people giving there opinion may open up a brainstorming topic where at the end of it we all come together to think of something game changing that will improve the server. thankyou.

Is this in OSRS?: voting system/poll system is sure.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: teleporter at dzone was denied

How would this benefit Alora?: cleaner efficient gameplay. more money through the server. 

 

 

 

also i haven't played alora very long so unsure if anything like this is already implemented.

You bring up the wizard to dzone as a 'good' suggestion, When its not needed and not something we want to do.

1.There will be alot less people going trough edgeville.

2. Wether you tele home or to dzone to use a wizard, i don't see the benefit of it, you have to teleport and walk over to the wizard regardless of where it is.

But I'll touch on the Suggestion bit real quick. That being said; I wouldn't be opposed to a prompted voting system (toggle-able) in-game IF a suggestion has decent or even split feedback here on the Forums. Of course that would require prevention of players being able to vote multiple times on the same IP/MAC.

Currently, the suggestions are mainly considered by the amount of community input on the Forums. I understand that a lot of people don't come here to see what new suggestions have been posted for that day, week or even month for that matter.

I just feel its not efficient enough for the way i want to play. we play private servers for the small QOL add on's to make our grinds that tiny bit less of a headache otherwise we'd just go grind 07.

 

i feel like having to teleport home, run all the way north click the altar, click the healer and then back to the teleporter as a non donater is annoying enough and takes more time then it would on 07 , if you had a decent house as you'd usually have a one click tele for where you wanted to go.

 

donator zone having a teleporter makes it slightly better with the refreshment pool and then the teleporter. some of the boys i vc with suggested it being such a great idea and then when we donated and saw nothing there at the dzones.

 

after thinking about it i came on here to suggest it and saw someone else suggest it and it immediately got denied.

 

i have many other suggestions i'd like to run past you guys

I agree with you on the point you mentioned about it being annoying to teleport to Edgeville and having to run all the way North to the Healer, and also the fact that the Pool of Rejuvenation next to the edge furnace has a 180 second cooldown which makes it impracticable for certain PvM activities where you need to restore stats+spec.
However, like you also pointed out yourself, you can, and honestly should, have an Ornate Pool of Rejuvenation in your POH which pretty much turns that problem obsolete. We have many 1Click-Tele to POH and it's super easy to construct an Ornate Pool.

 

Edgeville is a Lobby-like area of Alora where all the players, donors and non-donors, can come across each other and coexist. It also already fulfills a ton of your needs as a player with the healer, shops, bank, Pool, Tele-Wizard, POH Portal and much more. There is no need to disaggregate the player base by creating another area of that sort.

We tag players everytime we reply to them so they get a notification, so your first is a non-issue now.

 

As for the suggestions, I believe the system we currently have works fine. Perhaps we can look at forcing people to include polls in their suggestions, but other than that our system has worked fine for years now.
