To put Count-down timers right next to Weekend-bonus (1.2x / 1.5x)

How would this benefit Alora?:

 

Lets say Nex-bonus starts on Friday, at 12pm exact - and ends on sunday.....12am.

thats 48hours or so - until it ends..

 

this way - any1 can check the boosts-section and see "ah right, i still got 36 hours to grind this XYZ, until it goes back to 1.0x(normal).

 

 

Because at this point - it seems to be sorta like a guess/gamble..when will the bonus end.

 

im at slayer-streak 1988, got 12 tasks til 2000 and im planning on finishing it when slayer will be 1.5x again.

 

 

this bonus was on this weekend, from friday - sunday.

 

it should've ended on sunday..

 

bro its tuesday and it still on....

 

should i go for it and maybe get the streak to 2000?

or will it end just as i hit 1999 tasks..and then its Good Game - wait another 2 weeks/month for the next slayer bonus

(my example).

Partial support that - but imo the timers should start to appear when they are close to be over, maybe 2-4h or so. It helps literally nobody if they see they have 91h left on GotR bonus.

Okay, imagine Jim is having a good day, everything is going perfect.

 

all of sudden Jim hears inside his head : "YOU HAVE 5 HOURS LEFT TO LIVE!"

 

and you go like "wtf......" ....

 

quickly, need to make most of my time - panic, panic help help me. starts making brash decisions - all moves Jim makes from this point on = as wrong as can be (potentially).

i think its a good idea to have a Start -timer ....and a Finish -timer..

the whole ,however many hours is in a weekend idk, 72h or something.

 

Vs. just nothing nothing nothing...all of a sudden "5H LEFT".

 

this way - its like an adventure.

 

and , you start from a certain mood - and incase anything goes to shit irl , or whatever else - you can log into alora and say "God bless, we still have 68h left of BOnus"...and that changes mood for the better. (if you know what i mean)

Like imagine having a timer for the full-month vote bonus f.e.
Vote bonus - 1.5x (648h left) - definitly doesn't look right for me

so implement that - any week-end & week-day events, have that 2-3 day count-down timer.

 

the moment the bonus is activated: count-down timer starts automatically.

 

 

 

maybe not have a timer , for the ones that are usually running all day everyday anyways.

 

but for only the specials - that come , stay for a while, then go away/disappear.

There was currently a bug affecting a few bonuses (GOTR, Tithe, Wintertodt, Tempoross, MLM) from showing their remaining time, however for the rest of the server bonuses the time left is shown, if applicable. When a bonus is set, they're given an option to set a countdown timer, and if they turn on a bonus without one, it's impossible to provide a countdown for players, so you may want to ask the event manager running the bonus how much time is left.
