A detailed thread on how purples are calculated at raids and how drop boosters, raid boosters & donor rank impact this.
Is this in OSRS?:
Yes, via wiki and online calcs.
Has this suggestion been accepted already?:
No.
How would this benefit Alora?:
I think it's fair to say the vast majority of mid-end game players time is spent at raids, specifically COX as most start there.
You can be spending 100s of hours in these and it would be great to know exactly how to maximise these hours spent.
The current confusion about how, for example, drop boosters work is rampant.
Is it a flat increase by 15%? does it increase the frequency of purples? Does it increase the quality of the purple IF you roll one? (How i personally think it works)
It is confirmed that the uber + donator "boosted drop rate %" increase applies to all raids, but where? And how?

COX:
What is the difference between a extra donor item and a "lucky bonus item"
My understanding is that the "% chance of an extra item in raids" is whats rolled per item, up to your "maximum loot in raids" - this doesnt explain what this extra item roll is.

TOB & TOA:
1. How does donator perks "maximum loot in raids" work in TOB & TOA? It doesnt appear to give extra rolls at purps or additional items like it does in COX.
2. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but no one has ever rolled a double item from TOB or TOA? Why is it possible to roll multiple purps at COX but not the others?
Given TOB & TOA are far harder than COX, it seems odd that the majority of the donor perks, specifically at higher levels, only seem to impact COX.
I will also offer my time to write the thread itself if Omi / staff don't have the time, just send me the info.
